    If I could give zero stars I would. Don’t go here unless you would like pieces of your car broken off, and then to be gaslit into them telling you its your fault. Not to mention the chipped paint i’ve had since I got my membership here, and surface scratching.

    I was in a week ago and while I was going through the car wash, the trim on the roof of my car was blown off by the jets and was beat against the side of my car by the jets before it fully ripped off and landed on the floor of the inside of the car wash. I was very calm and asked for someone to retrieve it for me. I waited for the man at the front to be done with another client before asking him about the situation. He was kind and retrieved it and offered to help me re-attach the piece to my car and when he tried to put it back on he said that it looks like it broke all the glue off, admitting to me that this happens often during the car wash and that these pieces are known to break off during the wash. He offered to get a manager for me, and I told him that would be great. This was not the first time something on my car had broken going through the wash ( the light above my license plate popped out), but the first time it wasn’t a big deal and i brushed it off. I had to wait around 10-15 mins for the manager to come over to me and he immediately placed blame on me saying that i must’ve ripped off the piece of my car before coming in that there was no way the piece could’ve came off in the car wash because it was quote ” already dirty”. Which makes no sense at all, because you get a car wash when your car is dirty. The manager continued to place blame on me after the other guy who worked there told me it was a pretty common occurrence. I asked him to make a report, had to wait another 10 mins for him to grab a piece of paper for me to fill out , and then another 15 for him to make a copy for me. I asked to cancel my membership and he never sent someone over to do that for me and after being there for almost 35-40 mins I wasn’t going to wait any longer. He was incredibly rude about the whole thing and kept trying to convince me it must’ve been my fault. I asked for a number to call and was given a customer relations number that I could only text?? What kind of franchise place doesn’t have a number to call for disputes? Tried to cancel my membership over text and they said they couldn’t confirm and or deny that it would actually be cancelled. I was told I would get a call in a few days from the DM and its been crickets for a full week!

    Miguel was absolutely wonderful and so polite! I like to get my car washed early and the machine did not register my license plate at first however Miguel was very prompt with his response and assisted me in getting through. I love this location the mat cleaning room is amazing and the other staff are always very nice as well☺️

    Splash in East Haven always professional and handles all my car wash needs …Staff is always pleasant, professional and willing to help . I plan purchasing a membership real soon.. Facility is always beyond very clean but make sure you get their early always busy. Miguel was a tremendous help and also other staff members sorry I didn’t get their names

    Gaslighting, reverse accusations and refusal to take responsibility…

    After borrowing a family member’s car for a period of time I wanted to get it detailed prior to returning it to them. Big mistake.

    1. Splash cleaned the interior of my car on a Friday, took a reasonable amount of time and upon first glance getting in the car everything looked good. 2. I brought car to the airport to leave for family to pick up upon their return on Saturday. Upon them arriving they noticed that the vent controls were broken and found small pieces of plastic on the ground that looked like someone had tried to put them back together but failed. 3. On Sunday I returned to Splash to fill out incident report. Weeks went by without any response. 4. Multiple phone calls and outreach later I finally was able to speak to someone. I sent pictures of what happened and explained the situation. I was then told that Splash “has no equipment that could have possibly done this damage. It must have been previously damaged.” I was told that I had no grounds for a claim and they refused to take any responsibility. 5. See pics attached and tell me with any reasonable explanation that this was not done when an attendant was wiping my vents and dash. Not to mention, explain to me how pieces of plastic from the vents appeared on my floor AFTER the car was cleaned…?

    Simple mistake, I do not believe it to be intentional at all…but the damaged is going to cost me $900 to replace the vent housings. Instead of doing the right thing, they decided to accuse me of damaging it and double/triple down that it was not possible for their attendants to do such damage.

    It’s 2 small plastic clips that could easily be broken off by someone cleaning my dash and vents. Pretty awful and dishonest practice by Splash. I’m disgusted.

    I very much enjoy the facility and all of the cleaning perks that are on premise. The place is clean, the equipment for customers works and the staff are very friendly. I find that the wash isn’t 100% most often. I have to hand clean the fender area and rocker panels. I suppose I could go through again and will next time as well as alert them so they can pretreat that area before going into the wash. I’ll keep coming back!

    I had a terrible experience at a car wash with extremely rude staff and outdated facilities.

    Last week, I stopped my vehicle at the vacuums, and the windshield (front glass) was in perfect condition. While I waited in the designated area, my car was washed. However, when it was ready, I noticed that the front windshield was cracked. I approached the manager, Johnny, to file a complaint. Unfortunately, before I could explain what had happened, he began yelling at me. We almost got into a fight, but luckily, he didn’t touch me, avoiding further trouble. As I was leaving the area, Johnny continued to disrespect me by making an offensive gesture. I have video evidence of this incident, which I can upload if necessary. Subsequently, I decided to cancel my monthly unlimited plan and will never return to that car wash again.

    It is important to exercise caution when dealing with the manager and the rude staff, some of whom appear to be dishonest individuals. I strongly advise against leaving any personal belongings in your car while it is being washed, as they are likely to be stolen. Unfortunately, I have already lost a couple of headset sets in this manner. Additionally, it is crucial to thoroughly inspect your vehicle for any damage or scratches both before and after the car wash. If you currently have a monthly plan or regularly visit this car wash, I recommend canceling your plan and finding an alternative car wash as soon as possible.

    I am always respectful and will be respectful to ladies I haven’t talked with the lady any single word except bringing my car and show her the crack then she called you and you know what you told me on the phone after when you come to car wash what you said I have your rude and insult record video that I can post if you want so you will judge who fault it was, and yes please watch the video the windshield was 100% cracked in the car wash could be hit by the brush or could be due to your very old car wash equipment, hopefully you get some training so you can behave right with customer

    I brought my car for an oil change and car wash today and the service here is amazing. Everyone from the front desk to the mechanics to the car wash staff are great. The mechanic is very thorough and makes sure your car is receiving the maintenance it needs with your permission of course. He also goes over pricing with you.     I took my car here for the first time for the full detail ( prestige detailing) I was shocked when I saw the car not be fully cleaned on the seats, visor, windows etc. The person who did my detailing was kind enough to re-wipe gunk inside my car. However when I got home I noticed the crease of the seat had a lot of dirt still. After $200 detail I expected more. When I called, the person who detailed my car was very rude and told me I won’t even get a partial refund and that they actually lost money from my car. ( my car needed a GOOD vacuum and wipe down but it’s in good condition) Just shocked at the overall “clean “and professionalism of the place. And yes, I should have spoken up the day of but a gentleman there made me feel uncomfortable after re-pulling up to get the wipe down. I’d give 0 stars if I could!

  2. I’ve been coming here semi-regularly to use the vacuum for a while now and have never had any issues with the staff until today. I was vacuuming my car when all of a sudden an employee who was having another issue with another customer came to me and grabbed my hand and told me I couldn’t use the vacuum without a wash. Nowhere visibly on site is it posted that I can’t use the vacuum without a wash and honestly I would’ve been ok with it, left and went out about my business but grabbing my hand is where the line was crossed. If you have policies in place make sure that the rules are clear and visible upon entry so there isn’t confusion as any business should. I would not recommend anyone to spend their hard earned money at this location.

  4. Good experience! No complaints only draw back is the vacuums don’t have great suction. Other than that the place is good. I wash my car there everyday.

  5. I always have a good experience here. I’ve become a regular so I went ahead and signed up for the monthly membership. I’ve come to know some of the staff and they’re really friendly.
