This situation took time to be resolved, but all along the way, Jesse and his staff kept me informed of every step being taken. They were unfailingly courteous and responsive, most times within minutes of my asking a question, including nights and weekends. It’s clear that Jesse is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the cases he takes on; in this instance, it was dealing with voluminous medical records, and all aspects of elder law. Jesse was able to get a settlement for the entire amount legally permissible, and then worked tenaciously for almost a year, through multiple appeals, to get a lower reimbursement demand from medical insurance. For this I’m grateful to them however I don’t really have enough experience to judge if they’re good at what they do yet. There are many things that goes on at the firm and this can cause reasonable delays. My main concern though is the lack of reassurance from them. Maybe this is not norm but I would’ve preferred it if the team kept me in the loop throughout the time frame of this case. I know I’m useless and they’re doing all the work but its better than feeling miserable and not knowing what part of the case we’re on. I had to be the one to reach out to them to ask about the case and where we’re at. The problem here is that I felt like I’m pressuring them and telling them to hurry but that was never my intention. This made it a bit hard for me to send another email asking about the progress of the case. So updates in a reasonable would be awesome. If it wasn’t for this I would’ve given them 4 stars in total.
