She was hit by someone driving a SUV at 40 MPH in a 15 MPH school zone. To put things in perspective my Mom was 72 when this kid was born! To use a quote from an ambulance chasing law firm out of Syracuse she got the “maximum award”, though she’d gladly go back and do it all again without the misery and pain and settlement.
