  Used this many times but today this f’king car wash scratched my car right one month before lease end! NEVER AGAIN!
  Update: Thankfully, the lease ended up fine. So far, the cause of these scratches remains a bit of a mystery, but I’m 99% certain that they were made in the carwash. Using self-service car washes from now on.

  Probably my favorite car wash. It’s affordable, fast, and has all you need in one place. Gas, drinks, snacks, free towels, vacuums, and purchasable cleaning supplies. Will be coming again.

  Best car wash in Seattle. Automatic car wash cleans and dries your car well. Afterwards, you pull up to one of the many vacuum stalls to vacuum the insides and do minor wipe downs of your car with their supplied towels. Vacuum machine cost about $2 for 4 minutes. Top of the line car wash with ceramic sealant cost about $23. You can get a basic wash for about $15.
  There’s a gas station there too.

  Tip: the Costco by the SODO district has $8 car washes that are just as good and include sealant and tire shine. Downside is that the wait can be long with everyone trying to get their car washed after getting gas. Best car wash deal in Seattle.

  EDIT: The manager has gotten in touch with me and is going to make things right – I truly appreciate the customer service shown by Jorge. He was quick to respond to me, and actually empathized and apologized for the situation. Brown Bear – you should consider yourself lucky to have a great manager like Jorge.

  Never visiting a Brown Bear location again. Not only did my car get a terrible wash (still dirty), the people working failed to tell me the car wash would DESTROY a bike rack. One of them even came to tape down my rear windshield wiper and didn’t say anything. While I was in the car wash, I looked in my rear view mirror to see two other employees laughing as I went through – is someone breaking something they worked hard to pay for funny to people? I will never use their services again. What a terrible experience.

  I recently had to update my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars after my experience with customer service. I had a call with Stefan at the corporate headquarters related to my car wash club account. His customer care was amazing, he is a major asset to Brown Bear! Stefan made transferring services from a car I had recently sold to another car quick and simple. The simple fact is Brown Bear is the best car washing service in Western Washington bar none. My car constantly looks new and if your looking for a very clean car join the club and run your car through the tunnel wash then visit the vacuum stall empty trash grab a couple complimentary towels and some spray cleaner give the interior a quick wipe down and vacuum as needed. I am usually there for 15 minutes and back on the road, oh don’t forget to ask for a free air freshener while you’re there 😉 Cheers Brown 🐻

  Used a free coupon from getting my car serviced at the dealership, was able to go through as many times as needed to get tny car clean same day and they also provide spray and towels for detailing free, can pay 2 dollars for use of vacuum.

  Really enjoy this car wash. It is always clean, efficient and effective. Appreciate the extra cloths post carwash to wipe our car down.

  Had the worst experience today although in the past getting a car wash here was a breeze. Totally incompetent staff this time, the girl who was managing mounting the car on the rail couldn’t figure out how to. Then she calls her colleague Colin who turns out to real tool. He’s already made up his mind to not try and fix the problem, and asks me to pull the car out of the lane, giving zero effort or concern to me. I will avoid this place in the future.

  The staff and the way they operate this location is something to be massively appreciated. Professional, welcoming, and so kind and friendly. They’re always smiling, always seem to carry a sense of pride being there. You don’t see an entire team who are all going above and beyond and hold a high level of standards very often.. The carwash itself and lot are always clean, ready to use, not broken or run down. Vacuum stations are clean and get the job done. Car comes out sparkling everytime unlike many, many other car washes. I drive out of my way to come to the Lake City location. The management has really done a great job here 👏🏼👏🏼

  Typical of what you would find at a self car wash. It’s helpful you could use a credit card instead of having to feed quarters into the machine. What’s also nice is the water is heated which helps break down the dirt and grime and make the car cleaner. The one thing I would say though is an explanation of what the button does on the credit card reader. Evidently you don’t need to swipe your car in a second time you just press the button to add more time on the clock

  Easy & convenient car wash. We used to go in Redmond but this one is much closer for us from downtown Seattle. Usually day time it’s not so busy! I bring my own coins or they have exchange machine. Very nice

  Powerful vacuums. Adequate sprayers but giving 3 stars because the soap scrubber attachment was worn down to the nub (very little bristles left) and there was no soap coming out of the scrub brush attachment therefore had to switch stalls mid wash; wasting time and ultimately money be it only a bucks.

  Also; this location only takes bank cards as far as I could investigate. Would be nice if they would sell reloadable brown bear cards to prevent customers from such small charges. Management; If this is incorrect; and this location does accept your reloadable cards; please respond.

  Management: You may find it beneficially customer service friendly to check your equipment on all stalls daily and make sure that all attachments have the necessary soap levels and if unable to properly service the stall; put an out of order alert on the payment station until it’s remedied. With said; I’m going back later today to give them another chance and will inspect the same stall. If the issue have been fixed; I’ll update this review and manually change the rating within the body of this text. Outside of the worn down scrubber in and having no soap dispensing from that scrubber in stall #3 (street view); I do recommend this location for DIY car washes.

  It’s a cool place to wash your car.. but not at night. People seem to love hanging out in their cars taking up the vacuum spaces.. but aren’t really cleaning their cars. Hmm.. maybe they should find another place to “network” at.
