They close whenever they want. The business hours are up to 6 pm on most days. One day I reached there at 5.45 pm, but they were closed. The next day I call at 5 pm and said I’m coming. I made it there at 5.30 pm, but they were closed. What a waste of time! I am writing this review because I am highly upset with the service I got from Mr. and Mrs. Bubbles on 590 Grand St. in Jersey City, NJ. I went to the car wash to get my car cleaned, and after the guy said it was done, I inspected my car to ensure it was clean correctly and the car was still dirty. There was still popcorn on the seat, the running boards were dripping wet, the carpet protectors were still dirty, side mirrors were dirty and also still dripping wet, the dashboard was wet and wasn’t wiped down, there were crumbs and dirt still clearly visible on the floor which should’ve been vaccumed. My rims still had dirt visible on them and definitely was not sprayed down.
I spoke with an indivdual who wouldn’t give me his name but stated he was the owner and I voiced my concerns to him about the car not being properly clean and he stated “if you want a thorough cleaning, you’re suppose to clean your car at home”. I then told him I paid for a service and the service was not
delivered. I then grabbed their vaccum and spray to finish their job, and he gave me an attitude and told me “that’s why you need to go home and finish cleaning your car. I then told him my car is still dirty and they should finish cleaning it, he said “can’t you see my business is too busy to clean your car, and if you wanted a detail cleaning, you should have paid $50 for it”.
I highly advise anyone to go to a different car wash who cares about their business and cares about the job being done correctly. The owner was very unprofessional, rude, arrogant, and did not care about providing a service to his customers.
If you need a really quick car wash under $15 (both in and out) then this is your place. Don’t expect a detailing level work. You should be done in 15 minutes even at the busiest time
Quick and easy wash! There was line but didn’t take too long! We were done with in less thn 10 mins. The car wash for only outside took 3 mins and it costed 8$ which is cheap and also quick. Good service
This place is amazing! When I first saw it, I definitely judged it by its outward appearance and thought perhaps we didn’t make the right decision, but we have been to many other car washes that charged upwards of $40 for exterior and interior and do a truly subpar job. This play charges about $20 and their attention to detail was absolutely amazing. We were so pleased with the way that they hand washed everything, vacuumed, etc. They were super quick but definitely didn’t shortchange us on quality.
Bubbles Car Wash is the best Car Wash in Jersey City. And I would say based on my experience, best in NYC too.
Very good prices and very good job done. I am using their services since 2019.
