  This place costs a little more than other automated car washes and it is not worth the price. Initially when purchasing the wash the man at the front never responded to me when I greeted and thanked him for putting my card in or giving it back to me. The next man the sprayed my window had his ear phones in so he did not hear me speaking, Along with that he spray my window for awhile and then me going through the car wash you can see in the photos my windows did not get clean at all. They also offer free vaccuming with a wash however two of the three in my parking spot were broken so me and the person next to me had to share. Very poor quality especially for the cost, I will not be coming back.

  Severely disappointed with how this car wash is being ran. 3:30 pm on a Saturday and only about 10 stalls have vacuums hooked up, and the ones that do are barely functioning with little to no suction power (I tried 4!!) Also only have the wide nozzle hooked up, none of the skinnier ones.

  My car was still covered in mud when i pulled out. Half of the spots had no vacuums and the people working here have terrible attitudes. If I could rate 0 stars I would. What a waste of $25.

  There’s really no way to give this company anything less than a 1 star review, so I guess I’ll have to say they deserve 0 stars for their business and horrible customer service. Let’s just start with the first issue… So back in July, I applied for their unlimited car wash service for $20 for 3 months through their T-Mobile Tuesdays promo (sounds like a great deal, right?) but the stipulation was that you were required to store your credit card info for auto renewal. So I immediately canceled the auto renewal and received an email confirmation because I paid $20 and only wanted to use the service for the 3 months. I personally used their wash each only twice in the 3 months (I’ll get to why later) and then let the membership expire. To my surprise, after my membership expired I found out that I was charged for another 2 months (mind you I had already canceled the membership). So I immediately call their 1-800 customer service after I noticed this. After confirming my info, I was told that their online help desk employee emailed me back after I canceled the membership to have me email them 5 days before the end of my membership promo to cancel my membership. Now I’m not necessarily a rocket scientist, but why should it be my responsibility to email the company 5 days before the end of my membership to reconfirm my cancelation? Anyways, so the genius on the phone then informed me that they cannot process refunds and that I would be contacted via email from some other department that handles the refunds. Still haven’t heard back 3-4 weeks later. Now on to the quality of the car wash itself…. The quality of the wash itself really speaks volumes about the operation itself. If you like to have your car still looking like it was rinsed with a garden hose and left with streaks of dirt while paying some outlandish prices, then this place is for you. About the only somewhat decent thing they have going for them is
  the free vacuums. I could virtually spend the same amount on a car wash here or spend it at Walmart on the supplies to wash it myself and at least my car would be clean. Pretty pathetic honestly.

  So I have the works on my account like i have everything that is offered for zips car wash. so the guy who is guiding me into the car wash is waving for me to enter as soon as I drive in you can hear scrapping, then my car is not dry, I have no tire shine at all. The guys are too young, not even that they too inexperienced! You can tell they don’t take this job seriously. The guider should not be they all on their phone or either have the ear pods in being distracted. . I asked for a manager, nope! it’s not one so nobody is in charge they just there doing whatever.

  I have an amazing experience every time I come and I’m always greeted with a smile and great service. The employees are wonderful, Jaquan is a worker there and he is so fantastic he always takes the extra step to make sure we are receiving quality service. He even helped me and my friend get our hood open and helped us figure out where the windshield wiper cleaner goes. I love this car wash!❤️

  The guy asked me what I needed done and then said, “Oh I’m going to love washing this”. He was referring to my extremely dirty van. Then he gave me a FREE wash. He said if I needed to come back through I would have to pay then. I am so happy 💓 😊 with the great job he did. I will be getting the club membership for both my vehicles.

  I’ve been coming here for some time when it was Carolina Car Wash. I’ve had a monthly subscription for over a year now. I definitely don’t go as much as I should lol.

  They use to have cleaner for inside of your car but apparently it was just leftover for Carolina car wash. They only offer towels and cleaner for the windows. Free vacuums and a mat cleaner are two more services that are free.

  Lately, when I go through the air dryer at the end of the car wash, I always hear popping noises from my car. That can’t be good! The dryer itself is a joke because my car is still wet and dripping water in several places. Prior to that though, the attendant who’s supposed to pre scrub/rinse the car almost never do a good job as it’s basic. I had a better experience at another car wash. This is probably why I still have dirty and grime on my front bumper/grill.

  There are more on the expensive side and I think I will be canceling my membership soon. The basic wash and dry is $10. Wheels & Wax with triple foam, tire shine, and Z wax is $15. The Works & Wow includes liquid gloss, clear protect, and rain repellent for $20. If you want to try an unlimited plan, it’s only $15 to start off!

  Battleground location frequently closed during normal business hours and good weather….it’s gotten to point of not knowing when you drive there for car wash whether cones will be up blocking entrance or not (including now). Many vacuums have weak suction. Towels to clean cars are nice, but frequently moist/not dry. Rare that both lanes/gates are open and working – this leads to customers often blocking the one open lane for several minutes when no one is available to assist them. Question the validity of the 5 star reviews and those praising ‘Mariana’, as in dozens of visits there have never encountered her of any form of customer service.

  I was a little worried to use this car wash again. Had a horrible experience in the past. But a friend told me it was under new management and the new manager was working very hard to turn the place around. I was very surprised and impressed with the level of professionalism and service I received during my visit. I would definitely recommend Zip’s to anyone. Talk to the new manager, Mariana and get a membership while you’re there. You won’t regret it.

  Overall it’s pretty good and the workers nice… yet it’s hard not to notice that Maintenance of their tools and equipment has gone downhill.
  The dryer doesn’t work well anymore.
  The guy pre-spraying cars going into the wash is great ….if the spray magically spreads beyond 4 inches of my left quarter panel.
  Air gun out at the stall we pulled up to.
  Garbage edges their parking lot.
  Now only offers window cleaner and no longer vinyl/leather spray…bring your own

  UPDATE: Cancelled my membership. Location has taken a significant nosedive since ZIPS took over. It was a nice run while it was Carolina Car Wash, but no more. Too bad.

  Been coming since the first week grand opening.👍🏽Best in town. Superior wash tunnel and tools to keep your car shining from the inside out. After visiting other tunnel washes in the greater GSO area over past 2 years, I’ve learned ONLY Carolina Car Wash has real teammates who care and make a REAL effort to keep the facility CLEAN, vacuums CLEAR of debris (i.e. food wrappers, junk food, tangled weave scraps, spare parts and so much more), AND provide rags, glass cleaner and leather & plastic cleaner all built into the cost of the wash. Everywhere else, you are “on your own” and minor extras are at an upcharge. The monthly wash package can’t be beat. Bravo! Here’s to many more years of continued success…
