  I stopped here because it was close to my job, the employees were friendly and the vacuums worked amazing but that’s it! I should’ve tried the car wash before getting the monthly membership but it was $10 for the first two months so why not? Definitely want to cancel as soon as possible, the car wash itself seem to only last about 45 seconds. And with the unlimited car wash you can’t even add any upgrades, the mat cleaner doesn’t work, no towels and it left huge streaks on my car. Maybe I’ll try it again, since I have unlimited or maybe a different location but this one was just not it.

  The drive through is very convenient but I’ve had so many new scratches on my vehicle since I started a membership here. The brushes always knock my side mirrors back and even broke the cover of one of them off. The vacuum cleaner are a hit or miss and I’ve had to take the attachment off and pull the trash out of it myself just to get it to work. They do offer cleaner and rags if you need them but they don’t have enough to go around. Nice place for a quick wash but it wasn’t worth the headache.

  David an employee of the Zips Car Wash at 1036 Tyvola Road, was EXTREMELY kind and very professional during my visit on the evening of January 5, 2022. He went above and beyond my expectations to make sure my visit was outstanding. It has become exceedingly difficult to find excellent customer service, people who actually enjoy their job, and are incredible at what they do. I will be back to this Zips location because of David. David has certainly earned a raise, and I hope the owners and managers see this review and help him receive the raise he deserves. The business that I will personally bring to this Zips location on a recurring basis in the future will easily cover the cost of a raise for him.

  Julius was the best! He greeted me with a giant smile, was super helpful, and got me signed up for the holiday deal ($10 unlimited car wash!!) so quickly and seamlessly while I was going through the car wash and had everything ready by the time I got to the vacuum.

  This place used to be the BEST. I hadn’t been in a months and was excited to return. This visit was different from the start. The price has gone up by $3 for a basic wash. My car was barely dried resulting in water streaks all over the windows and multiple vacuum hoses were laying in the ground, unusable. Also, the vacuum pressure is minimal, a couldn’t vacuum a tiny leaf…I even recorded it bc of how bad it was. The car vending machine for product was removed so all of those products are no longer available. It was so bad that I went in to get towels and asked if they were under new management and the associate said they were. It’s a different place than it used to be. Old management could come back and teach valuable business practices.

  The employee name Mario was not pleasant. I had just went thru the car wash drive thru. He sounded rude during our conversationThen when I was ready to used the supplies. The supplies was low or empty. I ask him about the supplies he reply there was none. Then about 10 minutes or longer someone did put window cleaning solution on the cart.

  10/10! Mario and Jason and Jarvis took care of me today when I had payment issues. Great experience.
  I highly recommend this car wash. Customer service is consistently unbeatable . Extra thank you to Jarvis who takes care of me every time I’m here. He’s always working with a great attitude.

  Jason made my experience so incredible, he helped me with a great promotion and I had a sticker I couldn’t get off my car, he stop to help me. He had excellent customer service and professionalism. Most times you don’t think to much about your car service ,but this had to be one of my best experience. Will continue to come back 😊

  If you plan on going to Zips Car Wash on N Tryon for a car wash please be aware that if any damage happens to your car they will leave you hanging. On 12/5/22 I went through the car wash and their brush machine comepletely destroyed the windshield wipers on my Audi. On the site I filed an incident report, and was told the regional manager would be contacting me within 72 hours with a “resolution”. However, today makes it officially 72 hours and nobody bothered to contact me. I had to follow up myself and go back to the car wash today just for the “manager” to tell me that they do not honor claims or fix damages on vehicles that are 6 years or older even though they are liable for the damage and about 90% of the cars that come through there do not meet the criteria. However, this is not over that is why Civil Court and the Better Business Bureau exist. BEWARE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR.

  Update on 05/08:

  No spray, and my car is not even dried..

  Yes this review is after the owners response. I went there on 03/12. The pressure jet to wash away the loose dirt wasn’t functioning. This means my car goes in with the very small particles which are going to get wiped away and potentially scratch the thin gloss.
  Next disappointment was that the water wash after the soap wasn’t fully functioning (or something similar ). So when I was at the very last stage most of the soapy foam was actually blown and not ‘washed’. When I came out finally, the car was still having soapy water left on it. When they dried, they left marks on the shine.
  And not that I bother much about it but the tyre shine never works at this station. Those rollers do roll but they don’t actually put a black coat on your tyres.

  Excellent carwash with great customer service. Manager and employees very knowledgeable about the wash. Drying system is excellent with a buff and dry at the exit end of the wash to wipe off residual water at the and of the wash process for the top wash.

  Free vacuums have considerable suction and lot was very clean. Towels were also offered to the customers via cart with window cleaner and spray.. absolutely amazing site

  STAY AWAY!!!!!! I feel that a one star is being very generous. On Sunday, December 4, 2022. My daughter’s husband took his Honda Pilot in for a wash and as he moved through the drying phase, the force from the blower blew his windshield wiper forward just as the brush came down to dry the front of the car, ripping the entire driver side windshield wiper arm off from the bolt, also causing the wiper to bounce back and crack his driver side Windshield. An employee wrote a report and informed him that the district manager would be in on Tuesday, December 6th and contact him by phone. Tuesday came and went….no call. He went by the car wash to make them aware that he had not received a call from the DM and was told by the manager that the DM was very busy….he went home and contacted the corporate office to file a claim and was told that he would be contacted by someone in 72 hours. Today is Monday, December 19th, a full two weeks since the damage was done and he still have not heard from anyone. They have given them a bad review on several platforms and even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

  I love this place. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The Store Manager is on top on of his game. He makes sure everything running smoothly. He is very helpful with his teammates and customers. The team is truly amazing at this car wash. I wait until I get to Charlotte to wash my car at this location.
