  Everyone was very nice and professional. The car was was very busy. So busy that my car wash membership registered quickly, the guy talked to me about this review opportunity and the car in the next line finished their purchase and went ahead. They got my wash and I got an Economy wash. Not cool. Vacuums had little suction. They were trying to work on it. Overall okay. Better than downtown Birmingham.

  I visited for the first time in months and was met with some changes (what is not considered a bad thing in my world)

  I am disappointed that the usual and customary services offered over the last 20 years are no longer being performed for the customer, such as a quick brushing of the tires and windshields before entering the automated conveyor.

  The lowest tier wash, now $10, did not produce desirable results. The car was left with a considerable amount of dirt that I was able to rub off so I am wondering what step of the cleaning process is not being offered with this basic service option??

  More telling on the negative side is an employee is now standing at the entrance pay toll to offer membership which would give one unlimited washes.

  With all this said, I am very pleased with the change from paper towels to the amazing car wash clothes and interior spray cleaner being offered !

  This establishment has two old buff guys that work at night without supervision and is very lazy and unprofessional. Tonight they took me and another customer money before closing and had the nerve to shut down the vacuum cleaners and lights on us and drove off. All they cared about was making a quick dollar and have the nerve to ask people to pay for a membership every time you pull up. The rims and tires never shine after paying $6 for an upgrade. These people don’t care about customer service at all because they were too busy waiting on their ride home and didn’t want to work in the cold. This is why African Americans will never reunite in the cold hearted world. Treat people how you want to be treated period!

  I have been through many car washes and have also worked at one. This is the worst one I’ve been to. The wash doesn’t do a halfa** job and the people working there just stand around. The only kind of prep they seem to do is spray whatever watered down cleaner on your windshield before you go through. Don’t waste your money!

  Pretty lackluster experience. Since it was my first time visiting, I opted for the top wash ($25). Guy helping me pay was friendly. Guy who was supposed to do the pre-washing was not. Outwardly expressing his desire to NOT be there, he hit the hood with a splash of water and gestured me forward aggressively. When I came out, there was still lots of soap left on the front, back, and undercarriage of my car. No apparent shine to the tires but it did look like whatever brush they used successfully moved the dirt around on my wheels. Parked on the end of the spaces to do some vacuuming. When I got out, there was trash blowing around. Not the car wash’s fault as customers probably empty their trash onto the ground instead of the cans. Only one vacuum of the two provided worked. Went to the space over and one was only at half strength. I vacuumed as quickly as possible and drove to another car wash where I would actually get some value for my money. Two stars because my hood actually did look better than when I drove in and the guy helping pay at the first was super nice. Won’t be back.

  After leaving the VA hospital my husband and I decided to take my car and his truck through the car wash right up the street from the parking deck…I just paid $21 for a wash wheels wax and $16 for wash and wheels at this car wash and to start off the guy who was supposed to guide me in wasn’t doing anything but looking at me so I had to guide myself in.. next the car or truck wasnt even clean after going through the car wash so now we have taken the car back through a second time and it still wasn’t clean.. no tire shine and definitely didn’t look like wax was on it.. waste of time and money!!!! NEVER again!!! Will gladly pay for hand wash next time somewhere else..

  I just came by mainly to vacuum out but decided to get unlimited washes for a month. So far I am happy with them. The wash was good and customer service was outstanding. The first lady was informative and quick with the information I requested and her duties to get me started. The next guy was also attentive and quick working without cutting corners. I’m seriously impressed.

  Negative experience. I went through the wash, and my truck was arguably just as dirty as before. The washing garage only has one stage of spinning washers before the rinsing and drying off stages. One of the spinners also left streaks on the hood. Pictures are *after* going through the wash.

  Worst experience. The other customers were screaming and honking for us to move even though the machine was broken. Car was hardly scrubbed before going in the wash. Don’t think I got a wax which I paid for and this is what my car looks like after!

  I got the top of the line car wash. Crappiest car wash I’ve had in years. No manual pre-scrub like at other locations. My car was still very dirty when I got done, so much so that the back of my hatchback barely even seemed touched. And then all the vacuums were clogged with minimal suction. Don’t waste your hard-earned money like I did. Use another location!

  I have been using the car wash for years. Today I came and I had a issues with the reader taking my credit card and the attendant came out a bit annoyed and mumbled something and just walked off. I went to go in the car wash – he half heartedly scrubbed the left side skipping much of it and not doing the back. Most of the spaces are blocked and hosed for vacuum are on the ground. Sad – it used to be a good place to go .

  Only 3 vacuums working. Customer
  screaming at other customers because they were using vacs. Employees did not try to resolve.

  I see a lot of improvements being made. Used to be a Goo Goo Car wash and they were always short staffed and out of air fresheners. 1st time back since the name change. Wash was better and they had air fresheners and towels. The car mat vacuums were still being installed. Can’t wait to see if it will be better or will it continue to decline like Goo Goo. When you pay $21 dollars for a wash you expect everything to be functional.

  I’ve been coming thru for years and was never impressed but since Take 5 took over i’ve had nothing but great experiences. The new vacuums are amazing!!! I met the new manager, David, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

  The touch screen at the kiosk to pay was not working well. Had to press my option over and over. 2 attendant working, they both grab brush at the beginning of the wash but only 1 wanted wash my car. ALL goo goo car wash are getting bad. The one downtown Birmingham is way worse than this one. Time to find another car wash.
