a month agoThese guys really know their stuff and are very willing to help. I went in for advice about a problem with my car and Ryan was super helpful. He gave me precise instructions and although they did not have the product that I needed, he offered several recommendations on where and how to obtain them. That gentleman was very patient and went above and beyond to ensure the successful accomplishment of my pressing needs. I was positively surprised. The other reps seemed nice and attentive as well. Has the usual stuff for home auto repair/customization, etc. The staff are helpful, but not overwhelming or pushy the way some places are.I wasn’t there for paint, but found myself looking at, and taking pictures to show my bf the options, for a while. I don’t know what I would use peel off spray paint for, but I’m pretty sure I need it.
a month agoI like this store. The staff is helpful and convenient for me. Their inventory isn’t as extensive as I would like, but good enough.3 years agoHubby had to come here cause the starter he bought wasn’t working properly. After talking to a senior sales associate, hubby was sold the wrong size. But ask is good, they got him the right one and even tested it out. Really friendly people working there.

2 months agoHad to take my battery that was under warranty back to have them test it. They found that it was only putting out 1.25 volts out of 12, which is pretty much dead. They exchanged the bad one for a new one and even carried it to my car for me.2 years agoWill not honor the 3-Year warranty. I purchased in October 2021. The batteries did not hold charge. The store clerk tested them on arrival and said the batteries were good, but it would take a couple hours to charge them. The clerk called me a few hours later saying the batteries were bad and the store would give me a $10 gift card. I asked for the manager to call me. The manager called though she seemed irate about having to talk to me. She stated the batteries were of no value to her, thus she could not honor the warranty for replacement or refund. Additionally, she blamed her clerk for misunderstanding the warranty policy. I offered to pick the batteries up. She questioned why I wanted to pick up bad batteries. I asked if the batteries still belonged to me. She confirmed.2 months agoTypical auto parts store. I have gone there on two separate occasions. I found the staff to be helpful and polite.a year agoMy very first day on the island and I had to pick up my car from Sand Island, just to find out my car battery is low. I had barely made it to this location, before my car killed out again on me. With no family and none of my tools on hand, I stopped here for some help. The guys here had such a great attitude and knowledge about what they do here and the service was awesome. They took out my battery(from the trunk with barely any space) and replaced it with a new one with no problems. They had honestly and positively turned my day around. He passed along useful car maintence tips as well. Everyone I know at Hickam AFB recommends this auto shop and now I see why. Will be coming here for future auto repairs.

In all the years I’ve been going to O’Reilly. This was the worst customer service I had ever experienced just for a battery. Victoria did not know where my battery was located, then said she doesn’t know how to install, then said we are too busy, you can wait until the next shift comes in to install the battery. I asked another employee Richard for help but was very rude. After over an hour, Sialatauau installed my battery but was very rude and threw the old battery on the floor nearly landed near my foot. Then walked over to chat with his friends and didn’t bother to tell me he was done. There were 3 male employees chatting at the counter and 2 female employees at the counter. There were no smiles or thank you or sorry to keep you waiting for over an hour in the hot sun.
I took a photo of the front of the store parking lot with empty stalls. Now does it look like they are too busy to install a battery?
My car broke down a couple of blocks from O’Reilly, and an employee named James went out of his way to help me fix the car. I’ve never treated so much Aloha from this shop. The store is a bit humid inside. Hopefully, the owner can install A/C for the employees and customers to shop conveniently.
I was surprised by the level of service at O’Reilly Auto Parts on Dillingham Boulevard. I went in expecting a typical auto parts store experience, but was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff. They were knowledgeable about the products and took the time to answer my questions. The store was also clean and well-organized, which made finding what I needed a breeze. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this store to anyone in need of auto parts.

I get my windshields wipers from them. They are the best. They will put them on your car for you for no charge. That’s service and with a smile. They are having hard time now with all the construction on Dillngham Blvd, so don’t forget about them and go there for your car needs.
