  Waste of money. Go somewhere else

  I’m constantly traveling for work. New city every week I’ve used a lot of automated car washes. And this is the worst one I’ve been though. The front of my truck was bearly cleaned still covered in bugs with parts completely untouched. The back wasn’t cleaned at all not even any marks from the brushes in the dirt. The wheels, side steps and back bumper and most of the tail gate looks the same as before I came.

  I paid for the most expensive wash. Was surprised when there wasn’t even a attendant to guide you in. Most of the time when you pay 25 dollars for a wash they Atleast spray some presoak or use a pressure wand to wash the front of your car.

  Bottom line it was a waste of money any car wash I’ve ever been too has done a better job. Regardless of price.

  This was my first experience with Zips and I was very impressed. I was looking for a place that would take good care of my new car. After getting it washed and vacuumed I was sold. Brandon was awesome. Great customer service. He addressed all my concerns and was very helpful. I got the unlimited pkg and look forward to using it often.

  went to zips car wash and spoke with a nice lady in one of the lanes, i think her name was rose? anyways she was very helpful and got me setup with what she described to be the “best package” and she was not wrong! amazing customer service and my car looked amazing after

  We have 2 vehicles that have had the monthly premium package for close to 3 years and I take our third one threw every once in awhile and just pay for a single wash with it.
  I went through with the third vehicle 2 days ago and paid $25 for a car wash and was informed I get a free wash if I come back the next day. I ended up driving on a dirt road so I decided to go back the next day for a free wash to get the dust off.
  I was informed by the lady while basically laughing at me I don’t get a free wash because I came yesterday at 2:30 and it’s 4pm today. The receipt says 24 hours lol.

  Well the gentleman the day before just said anytime tomorrow so I didn’t think to read the fine print on the receipt to see anyway they could try and not give a free wash the next day. Well they got me haha.

  Anyways this caused Zips to lose 2 premium customers over the last few years instantly. We will not be back and will not recommend them to anyone.

  Bad business tactic especially with all the new car washes coming up in town.

  Update: Went there 3 years ago & the Vacuums are MUCH WORSE NOW! IRRITATING to have to keep restarting the Vacuums! This time, the Vacuums have Barely Any Suction! Two other people there were Complaining about the Vacuums! Awful SUCTION & KEEP having to Restarting the Vacuums! Still Awful! Won’t be back!!! NEVER FIXED THE ISSUES!

  They messed up on our wash had our truck looking horrible a black truck shows everything right before we started our 34 after calling and explaining the situation they told us to come in after our 34 and they will fix it. So we did and they where awsome on correcting the bad wash. I thanked them for it and they did an awsome job. Hate when my black truck looks bad I can understand if I’m running threw snow ❄️ but other then that she is always a pretty black Betty. Thank you guys for doing it right.

  Classic case “you get what you pay for.” Paid $40 to get the car detailed and was not any better than what I could have done myself at home in 15 minutes. They didn’t wipe the leather conditioner they sprayed. They didn’t clean the floor mats. They basically vacuumed and sprayed and nothing else. I would rather pay $100-$130 for a thorough car detail than to waste $40 here. $40 was the higher end auto detail package btw.

  Every time I try to insert my card, the machines don’t accept it even though I have money and no spending limit and such. I never see anyone to ask for help.

  Much better than a year ago! I was greeted quickly and had all my questions about a detail service answered. The gentleman also told me about ways to get the best deals for what I wanted done! I was told about how little by the wait would be while they finished the person ahead of me, but they actually got me in faster. The service also was a little shorter than what I was told to expect. However, the attention to small things impressed me! With a four and right year old riding in my car, the seats looked awful in the back, even though the car is barely a year old. They performed some kind of magic and made it spotless! Detail tech were friendly and fast! Definitely will be returning and highly recommend!!

  The only reason In and out is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is last year they raised their basic car wash from $3 to $5. I thought that was an amazing deal and hope they bring it back!

  After months of deliberation I finally caved in and got the basic car wash unlimited membership at $15 a month. I figure with summer around the corner and seeing pollen collect on my vehicle every morning, I would put this membership to good use. I am 3 days in and have washed my vehicle 3 days straight without any issues. There are 3 In and out car wash locations, 2 in Joplin and 1 in Springfield. The unlimited car wash membership can be used at all 3 locations but only once per day.

  In Joplin, the 7th street location is by far the best of the 2 locations in town. This location provides the bug washer bucket with scrubs, car mat brush machine, and towels. As far as I know these are not provided at the 32nd street location; however, the vacuums at the 32nd street location are more powerful. 7th street location also provides detailing packages.

  I have never experienced any issues with any of the staff and they all seem to be high school/college aged students that stay busy and keep the grounds clean. As of right now I am enjoying the unlimited membership, and plan to keep it through the summer due to drastic weather changes we get here in SW MO!
