Awful. The wash was $17 for the best one. It’s the one I purchased. It didn’t clean the car well. The tires are not shined. Left water spots. The vacuum’s are quarter operated and are not powerful enough to make much of a difference. The location is also less than ideal. To answer the question, no, it did not come clean because there is a lot of dust in the rear seal, which is the reason I asked for extra pressure washing on the back of the car. I wasn’t expecting it to be perfectly clean because of the nature of the dirt location.
I asked them to spend extra time with the power washer on the back because I live on a dirt road..I gave them a extra tip for it. They didn’t even use the pressure washer on the back.

I had great service by James and the crew at John’s Car Wash. The pre-wash services followed by the car wash left my car looking beautiful. The vacuum is really strong and you get plenty of time for $1. As well as when we opened the door there was still soap everywhere. Called and explained and they said no problem bring it back.
Next day we pull in and tried to explain what happened, my wife got halfway through the explanation and the older gentleman said “that happens all the time” hits the button and sends us through a standard wash. My dad always liked this place, turns out it was my last time here. There has got to be better customer service at a carwash in Salem.

Attempted to toss ONE preroll container (I missed the trash) and dropped 2 straw wrappers. Worker came over and said, essentially, if we were paying customers that we could do what we wanted, but since I’m “using my own vacuum,” I had to “stop throwing trash everywhere outside”. (Again, I missed ONE trash piece, and two straw wrappers fell out. It’s not like we were sitting there throwing mcdonalds cups around). We weren’t even done cleaning, had shown no intent to leave without picking everything up, and I was sitting down with things on my lap. Awful. Awful, Awful!! I drove up to get my new car detailed and these A-holes put permanent stains on my light color upholstery. The manager said to me “I’m tired of you white people coming back after we service your cars and blaming us for damages that you drove in with and expect us to fix. This is worse place ever I will never ever go back there again and I suggest you don’t either. They are rude, disrespectful and did not fix my seats after they stained them be aware 😤 they did offer to fix them if I paid another hundred dollars! Here is one of the rude managers who works there don’t go there and save yourself a headache and from being ripped off!
I left with scratches on my aftermarket tint on the inside of one of my windows. I called Magic Touch and was told to come back down to the place as they couldn’t do anything without seeing it. After I drove back, Manuel took a look at my window and wiped off some polish that was left on after the detail. He said there was no way it could have been from them as they use blue rags for the windows. Manuel said I have to speak with his boss another day, but I don’t feel like they’d do anything but waste my time again. My mom said she warned me, as she left with with an oily sheen on her windows. I’d recommend spending the extra money and going elsewhere as it’s going to cost me more money than the detail to have the tint replaced.
My husband went here recently to get our car detailed. However they did not do a good job. They took people (who came after us) before us. They rushed through the job and did not vacuum the car well at all. Whatever chemicals they used to clean our car discolored our car (see photo). My husband spoke to the manager and instead of being willing to give the money back (I know times are tough, but still) they offered to redo it. So instead of making it right they want to do another poor job.
I came down here even though it’s pretty far from home because there’s no “full service car washes” in my area. Only “detail shops” that are super expensive. So my car was in desperate need of a professional wash inside. I have 3 small shedding dogs so between their fur, dirt from our shoes and their paws, small rocks, leaves and mud, my car was pretty bad. For about $40 and an hour, the guys at Magic Touch car wash did a pretty decent job. So areas were missed between the driver seat and center counsel and under the floor mats up front. Overall…, I’ll be back and I would recommend them. But next time I’ll point out the areas I want them to focus on. Maybe that will help. If it does I’ll change my rating to 5 stars.
I haven’t been in for a while but very disappointed. I’ve tried several times chalking it up to bad luck because I wanted to use them. However, this time they just didn’t clean. They didn’t vacuum the car and the windows weren’t washed inside. My eyes are not so good and it was just about dark. When I saw the inside of the car, I realized how much it was not cleaned. I live out of town and didn’t want to turn around and drive almost an hour away so I just wasted $31 + tip. However, I did learn a good lesson. I will not go back but if you do, have an eagle eye on their work. Hold them accountable. For the disabled, Beware.
