  I have a Ford F-150 with eco-boost motor. The more octane you give it the faster it goes. Costco has 93 Octane gas. I was late for a doctors appointment a few days a fill and going up 31 between Charlevoix and Petoskey. There were a few slow vehicles. Pull out, trans went two gears down and I went from 50 to, too fast in about 4 seconds. Wow. Big thrill for and man. 93 octane wakes that motor up. If you have an eco-boost motor and never tried Costco 93, get a full tank. You will feel the xtra HP. The computer advances the timing based on knock sensors. It a lot harder to get 93 to knock than 87 or 89. No knock, more boost, more gas, more go. Cheap thrill, don’t get caught. COMPARED to the Costcos down state I never have to wait for a pump at the TC Costco.

  I just have to give some serious props to the man who was out working at the gas pumps tonight his name was Derek I believe, (sorry if I’m wrong) he was so genuine. Ask how my day was and even told me to drive safe because of the storm. Thank you for your genuine customer service! It’s not un noticed and very much appreciated.

  I don’t know why I continued to stop at mutual. Probably because it’s cheap and easy and right on my way. After today I will no longer give them my business. Since when is it ok for an employee to light up a cigarette within 3-5 feet of a person pumping gas? Also, my windows were down for my child to see me so he wouldn’t get upset or meltdown….since when is it cool to light up right next to the vehicle of a customer with a toddler in the car? Apparently it’s not thier problem if those around them are medically sensitive or asthmatic but what about the safety issues? Aren’t there laws in Michigan about smoking within a certain distance of a building and a gas pump? Do better mutual! Do BETTER!
