- Reviews:I Love bringing my Buster to this park when I’m in town. He loves to get out and stretch his legs and run around off leash for an hour or so. He’s my traveling partner in my Semi, so he doesn’t get to run around as often as I would like him to. But coming here and letting him run, playing with the other dogs, he really enjoys himself and there is plenty of room to play. Just an all around great park.By James Hazlett (a year ago)The Vernon Dog Park is a good time and hidden gem in the Vernon Hill Parking arena. It features feathery grassy fields of doggy walking-land galore. Your doggy paws will be perfumed with fresh cut grass by the end of your trip here. Only improvement could possibly be some more doggy accommodations, but overall this spot does the trick and gets the job doggie done.By Nate Hopkins (2 years ago)Brought my six month old puppy here for the first time today. Some good things; some not so good. GOOD: Two sides, one for dogs under 30 lbs, one for dogs over 30 lbs. And both sides are really large. NOT SO GOOD: There’s no shade. On a hot day, it’s HOT. No water fountain. BAD (but fixable?) A lot of the grass has been replaced by prostrate knotweed. I don’t think this was intentional but it DOES make a good, tough ground cover. That said, it hides holes really well– grows right across them. And they’re break-your-ankle-sized holes. My dog actually stumbled in one but was fine. I spent my time there pulling out the knotweed so the holes were visible, but I think there’s got to be a different solution. (I’ve attached a couple pictures to show what I mean)By Jessica Leonard (9 months ago)Came with my dog Topaz and we both had an amazing time meeting with new people and few people from our past visits to the dog park very much friendly people and pets some paved walk ways that you can take a decent walk around the park and beautiful grassy fields to enjoy with your family and pets have a picnic throw a Frisbee enjoy the dayBy Preston Peterson (5 months ago)Great place to bring dogs so they can have some off-leash fun just remember to bring some water and a bowlBy Yenni Desroches (4 years ago)

- Reviews:Great place for your four-legged best friend or four-legged animal preferably not a cat because it is the d o g Park so unless you’re a descendant relative of the Wolf or the African American rapper from the LBC they don’t get caught up around this dog park no cap all bark, oh snap I mean all bite, then jab jab night 🌃By Jeremy LeBlanc (10 months ago)Leave it to Worcester to screw up a small piece of land. Who’s watching over this place. Obviously nobody. Worcester always trying but always coming up short.By Joe Augusto (a year ago)Small & very noisy because it’s under highway & on busy road. But I commend the city for trying to make good use of an awkward triangular space.By CATHLEEN MUTNICK (3 years ago)I think it’s a cute little dog parkBy Ann Ayrton (6 months ago)Too small, ugly, dangerous, and horrid…By Orson “Mase” (10 months ago)

Nice place, kept up well. I like that there are 2 sides for small/large dogs.
Our dogs love hanging out here. We recently started bringing them to the park and have had a good experience so far. My dog did get scared of two dogs twice and started becoming defensive. Once the owner did nothing to mutually intervene with me, the second time another owner intervened with me and apologized. Overall, it’s a nice park to take your dogs!
Facilities ( eg bathrooms) are currently shut down because of covid 19 precautions. The park itself is fairly nice.
There’s a very small, and frankly, lackluster playground in this park although there are a lot of other recreational amenities including baseball fields and a football field. As well, the city’s Foley Stadium is across the street. But as playgrounds go, the city should really invest in this particular park. It’s a shame that they don’t.
Great park for football, baseball, softball, basketball, and floor hockey. Right near the Worcester youth center and across the street for Berkshire Bank Field at Foley Stadium.
