- Reviews:Nice playground. Beautiful soccer fields. Even has a dog park way in the corner, but didn’t visit it because there were so many dogs even in the middle of the day. My only problem is the large field near the playground and courts were not maintained and covered in long weeds.By Christina Kulkarni (11 months ago)The new playground is very nice with a fair amount of shade and benches to rest at. There are also basketball courts, a soccer fields and a dog park. Compared with some other parks in the area it’s fairly clean.By Eric Morgado (2 years ago)Great dog park with enclosed areas to let them off the leash. Which is great!! The people who take their dogs there are all pretty friendly and watch their dog to make sure there’s no puppy mischief or bad behavior happening. There are two separate areas, one for small dogs and one does big dogs.By Jessica Nicole Garrison (4 months ago)Nice dog park small and large dog pens are separate. It’s clean and feels safe even though it shares space with a homeless camp.By Ernestina Hernandez (3 months ago)Turf field is well maintained. The field is occupied by football and soccer trainings in the late afternoon and evening.By long song (2 months ago)

- Reviews:A very good park and sports field for all age of people. Centrally located in downtown. A devoted picnic area is provided. Separate parks for small and large dogs. Soccer grounds are full size and well maintained. Restrooms are adjacent to the park. Wheelchair accessible entrance.By Arjun Gargava (6 months ago)The park is clean and nice the only thing is that when there are games the parking is not enough!By Gemma Garcia (4 months ago)My dog (French bulldog) always have a blast here. This park is clean, relatively easy to find parking, and chill. So nice to have small and big dogs in separated areas. But I do once in a while a “big” dog playing in the small dog area. There’s a water fountain for doggies, too.By Alex Tang (3 weeks ago)To be clear on this review, I did not go to the playground side of the park. I went to see my nephew play flag football. The turf was great and the fields were clearly marked (he had a great time)! The only negative thing about the park is the complete lack of parking AND the fact that the SJ traffic department were handing out parking tickets to cars parked on the nearby streets (parents of kids) that are home to industrial businesses (I didn’t see a single business still open) after 6pm on a Friday night. I get it. It’s a local park servicing the TONS of high density housing in the area but it’s a city park so why punish parents who want to get their kids out of the house (especially after Covid) by handing out parking tickets to people who are not blocking businesses? FYI – I did not get a ticket so that’s not the basis of my review.By Dari Blackwell (2 months ago)This is a small but quiet park and a great addition to the Del Monte/Monte Vista condo neighborhood. Has a great dog park area and an AWESOME turf soccer field that is massive!By Kevin Tufts (a year ago)

Love this dog park! The hoomans are friendly! There’s a large and small dog area and fenced in. Open room for them to run around and play. A few benches and water fountain for dogs to drink. My favorite thing is there’s a playground for your children to play at and basketball courts right next to the dog park! A big kid playground and toddler playground. Love seeing the dog trainers there too
Great place for the pooches…I take my Golden at least a few times a month and have had no problems. It’s roomy, dogs and dog-parents are all very nice. Lots of chairs and some benches and always available water bowls kept full by caring people. Two areas for small and large dogs, lots of room for them to run.
This is a really great dog park. There is plenty of seating, shade, turf for the dogs to play on and 2 separate spaces for big and little dogs.
I think it’s important, especially when it’s busy, to really watch your dog and make sure they’re having positive interactions with other dogs. Things can always go sideways very quickly if 2 dogs aren’t getting along and no one is paying attention.
Really nice small dog park. There are shade and seats, also fresh water pump for the dog! Big dog and small dog sections are next to each other. Pretty good view on both side. Hard to get parking on the street when it gets late in the afternoon. Otherwise really enjoy
It’s an alright park with turf. Small dog area is really tiny and with the rain season, it’s unusable because of standing water covering 70% of the ground. Even the large dog section had multiple puddles with no proper drainage. And there are no lights, so not the best place to go to during winter. Was looking forward to this park due to proximity but sadly this will be just a backup
