I been to some here in OKC that is just dirt and rocks and very small. I have a Great Dane so this park was perfect. Appears to be well maintained overall. Very pleasant experience. Large and spacious with lots of trees for shade and benches for relaxing throughout the park. - Reviews:We recently started taking our pup, Bruce to this park and he loves it! There are several benches to rest, shaded areas, and lots of water available for the dogs. The key fob makes it easy to get into the park and the pond area is enclosed in a separate gate so you can keep your dog away from the water, if you prefer. Everyone has been very nice and Bruce has made so many new doggo friends. I see a lot of bad ratings which makes me so sad! I get $10 a month is a lot, but the money goes to making the park better. Before the membership, it was complete madness. Too many aggressive dogs and fights always breaking out. I stopped going because it was too dangerous. I started going to the Midtown dog park but it’s so small it wasn’t the same. They started charging membership because people weren’t donating. They have to maintain the property somehow. The membership it totally worth it. I’ve seen improvements to the grass, the walk way to the lake and lights have been added. Plus it’s clean! My dog loves access to the lake and the little kid pools. It being a membership is the only reason I feel okay with taking my dog to a dog park. I know it’s safe!! All vaccinations and a fecal are required, I’m paying $10 a month and it’s honestly so worth it! I have a big dog and I haven’t been able to get all his energy out in so long until I started coming here. This dog park is a great size and some toys are provided. My dog had the time of his life and this is definitely a new regular thing! Our everyday walk is everything! The security always make you feel safe, even if you’re walking alone in the early morning hours before sunrise. The beauty of nature is such serenity to your soul. This is the best park by far in Oklahoma City!!!
Our fur baby finds it difficult to make friends due to his size, so it’s really nice that they have two different sections for different sized dogs. He’s made many friends and has really learned to socialize with other people and other dogs. This is our to go to place.

Scissortail Park 🏞️ is a very nice place to visit – very nice and safe splash pad and play ground for kids. On hot days you may refresh yourself in Scissortail sprayground ⛲ . Very clean and beautiful areas around, large lake, walking trails, encircling the park. Very romantic place for couples and a great place for the families to enjoy time together ❤️ Highly recommend this place 💯
