- Reviews:beautiful breathtaking views. It also has a beach area for a picnic and swimming.By Bonnie Serrano (6 months ago)Very very clean. Great place to take your kids. Only downside is homeless people taking up all the tables with only 1 out 8 being used by visitors. They don’t bother anyone they just inconvenience the public by not allowing use of the picnic tables. Great parking and fairly clean restrooms.By Frank Lara (2 years ago)My 3 kids had a blast on the “obstacle course” style playground. Great Saturday early morning funBy Michael Sauceda (DadaGru) (11 months ago)Very friendly staff, They keep everytime clean.. nice views for rooms with a view here for the 4th of July they have just been great at the hotel, there’s 2 bars one up front and one on the deck… Nice swimming pool which is an inside pool have access to go to the beach ⛱.. - Reviews:Extremely small, both the large and small dog areas. Not any substantial running room and if you get more than seven or eight large dogs in at once, they’re smashing into each other trying to run around together. Upsides are, it’s very clean and both the atmosphere and view is beautiful.By Laurie Ellis (a year ago)This park is very clean, has a water station, separate areas for big and small dogs, even provides poop bags and garbage can, and a view of the bay. Yes it’s small, but reviews are not meant to compare it to all the other parks in the world, but to review the condition and environment of THIS park. It is so well kept, high quality fencing, and it’s in a great location. If you live downtown then you know there’s no other places to let your dogs off leash.By Rocco D (2 years ago)It’s really nice, clean, although small park. There was a space for shade and a picnic table to sit in. Nice walkway along the shoreline, with playgrounds nearby. We enjoyed letting our pooch off leash for a bit while taking in the sites.By diana toler (2 months ago)There are large sidewalks leading to/from the dog park that are extremely wheelchair accessible. Unless you are so big you can’t move without a mobility scooter, and even then you should have ZERO problem getting to the dog park from the parking area it is linked to, it is an easy trek. The dog park itself is divided in two sections so there is no real overcrowding. Each side has its own water dish (functioning at the time of review) and poopy station. There are “grassy” knolls on both sides adorned with sand/gravel that you’d find on most walking paths or trails in Texas. The ocean view is definitely worth coming here.By Santiago Hernandez Jr (4 years ago)As far as dog parks go, this is a pretty sad excuse. Open area to run around but nothing else. I’m from out of town visiting and had my pups with me. Parking is somewhat close but good luck getting any. We had to park at the further parking lot. Only one of two water fountains were working, which on this 95+ degree day is not ideal. Luckily, it was only my 2 pups here. Otherwise there would probably been a few fights between other pups. As a last resort, since no other fountain had a dog accessible water fountain, this was ok. Not a sight to see though.By Joey V (2 years ago)

This is a large park with private soccer fields, baseball/softball/kickball complex, a disc golf course, dog park, water park, playground and abandoned RC car track. The park has a history dating back to WW2. It’s not a place to picnic under a shade tree but if you need space to fly RC planes, drones, model rockets, etc…yep. Generally maintained, grass mowed…stuff like that.
The first dog park I’ve ever been to. When they say a dog part they sure mean it. It’s in a nice area with nice people who bring their dogs to play with other dogs. It’s like they’re bringing their kids to play with other kids in the playground. Other dogs know every dog who knows every dog.
I noticed there’s water and dog food or someone else brings dog food. It’s nice for a place to bring your dogs and have a good time and meet other people while the kids, I mean dogs play. Lol!
I love coming to the dog park here with my dogs and the other amenities (baseball, soccer, kickball fields, etc) seem well maintained and used as well. My only complaint is the state of the roads, but otherwise a great park. Picture is from the dog park!
The dog park is nice, but I wish people would clean up after their dogs!!
Had a scheduled soccer game and the entire park was mowed except for the actual pitch. Driveway is in pore shape. Very large open areas. Saw people hitting golf balls and throwing discs.
