Separate areas for large and small dogs. It’s a large dog park and the grounds aren’t the best. Large puddles can be found in the large dog area, and the last time I was there a golden retriever left coated in mud. Its completely empty but does have some elevation change, which makes it slightly better than just a flat fenced in field. Fence isn’t completely secured around the outside, but I haven’t ever seen a dog escape. Sometimes the inside gate to the large dog park doesn’t securely shut which can create issues for dogs that like to push it open, but the second gate prevents them from leaving the park. It’s open to the community–no membership required. There are two separated parks, one for large and one for small dogs. In the large dog section, there are little hills, some trees for shade and a paved path, which is perfect for muddy days. There were plenty of dogs there for our pup to play with and owners were really friendly and attentive. There’s a water station too, which is always appreciated. Would highly recommend!By Abby B. It’s a big park for the dogs but they need to put a bench or two up inside the park for those of us who can’t walk up/down the immediate slope in the big dog area. I was there with my service dog and a friend who has his brother, but could not maneuver the hill and knew I would not be able to climb back up. I could see both dogs having a blast!
One of the best dog parks anywhere. Huge tree-covered, natural setting. Lots of space, places for people to sit, water for the dogs (and for cleaning them).
This is a great dog park. There are two separate areas. One for small dogs and one for large. Both areas are well maintained. There’s always bottles of water available for dogs, and the dogs and owners are well behaved.
I liked that there were 2 sections…one for “small” dogs under 25 lbs. Our little dog loved running off leash and meeting new dogs and all the new smells!
