  1. This crazy Ohio weather hasn’t given much time for walking/hiking. I was so greatful for a gorgeous afternoon. After my business meeting for the day, I spent a few moments admiring this lovely city park. You had people of all ages and walks of life. They had children playing at the playground, older and younger couples hand in hand. People walking their dogs to the dog park and the lovely outdoor seating space. I would most definitely recommend this little gem inside the amazing city of Cincinnati!

  2. We were in Cincinnati with one of our kids for my wife’s job. While she was working I took the kiddo to the park and we both loved it!! There is a dedicated space just for kids that looks like it has a really fun water feature (it was off when we were there), there’s tons of green space, and what looks like fun little places to grab a snack and a drink (we didn’t partake in that). We will definitely visit again when we’re in Cincinnati!

  3. Washington Park is an awesome spot for all things community. Dog friendly. Public restrooms. Water splash zone and full jungle gym for the kids, stage for concerts, large grassy area for recreational sports, plenty of benches to rest and people watch, and recently a small bar near the splash zone serving beers, wines, and basic cocktails. No food though and you have to pay for water. Washington Park is a block or two from the heart of OTR too so you are close to a lot of great places to grab drinks and food.

  4. Gorgeous park, my favorite in the city! There is always such a great community presence, the dog park is very spacious (could use more shade though!!), the park is well-kept with beautiful seasonal flowers and landscaping, and there’s so many fun events happening. Some of my favorite events are the Thursday blue grass roots revival series and the Tuesday workout series!

  5. Pretty park in the daylight or at night. There’s an outdoor bar where you can grab beer or wine and sit outside on the picnic tables in the afternoons. On certain nights they run a trivia night there as well. Lots of families and kids running through the park. Fun people watching. Beautiful flowers and landscaping.

Beware! We took our small dog here on 9/12/22. We saw the great reviews and are very disappointed with how our pup turned out. He had some matting, which we knew he would need to be cut short for. We didn’t think he would get butchered and come home looking and acting traumatized. Why would they cut his ears so uneven? I’ve never had his ears cut that short, let alone just one. We asked for a teddy bear cut which was an option on the website. We got an ugly lion cut. Lion tail was not discussed or asked for. They also called us to tell us they could not trim his nails because they would “dislocate his leg.” I’m not sure what that means but I’m glad my dog didn’t come home injured, I suppose. I didn’t think that was in the cards. They had my husband pay and tip before he saw him. Poor boy darted toward the car and was in very poor spirits the rest of the day. $85 for a botched cut and he still has long nails. I wouldn’t even trust them to take him back and have them fix it. He doesn’t feel like he was bathed, but it does smell like they sprayed him with Warm Vanilla Sugar by Victoria’s Secret. Gross.

Had both our pups groomed here after calling all over the city. They were the only place that would accept our Great Pyrenees. Our pups came home smelling incredible, super clean, and seemed super happy and comfortable with their groomers.

Paid $80 for my dog to have an uneven haircut. He had long hair on top of his head that I usually put in a ponytail. We agreed not to cut the hair on top of his head but shave the rest of his body. Despite this, the hair on his head was cut and extremely unevenly at that. He had 2 long strands on the right side of his head and everything else on top of short. I have never had this issue from a getting my dog groomed elsewhere. I’m very disappointed.

Took our little puppies to Red Dog for a grooming. We were so impressed by the check in process and prompt service. We dropped the pups off around 7:30 and they were ready for pick up around 9:45. For us this was above expectations as we don’t like to have our puppies stay longer than necessary. The grooming was just as requested. They came back looking so cute. Totally recommend Red Dog.

Red Dog resort is amazing, not only is the facility top notch but the care the staff brings to my Kali girl is first class all the way. Kali knows when she is arriving and gets over excited for her stay. I highly recommend this to all. Thanks again Red Dog for your top notch care for my girl.

I’m glad this park is nearby. My dog has a blast there and i enjoy seeing all the different types of dogs he plays with. This place has spectacular sunsets also. The park recently made some improvements by making a concrete path for people to walk in a area that usually gets muddy.

Large park in the city. Separate place for small dogs. Woofs will have great time there!

Great dog park. Well kept and clean area, multiple paddocks, one is specifically for small breed dogs 22lbs or less. Many well established trees that will bring good shade in the coming months. Water is available from a small fountain for dogs, it is working as of today. There are portable toilets available for humans to use nearby. Benches inside play area, as well as bags for cleaning up after your dog. There is a trail nearby but we didn’t have time to check it out today but it looks like it’s paved.

My husband and I took our 2 year old mini goldendoodle there yesterday and it was awesome. There is a separate area for dogs under 22 lbs. All the dogs were friendly and owners were good at supervising and playing with the dogs. Will continue going!

Black lab escaped. Not mine, but tragic nonetheless. Not sure if she was found. Her name was nova I think. Everything else was phenomenal, the porta potties have bidets. That was a lie, they do not. Very good park, highly recommend
