  1. Nice park at a beautiful location. Great views. One can go for jogging, biking or even kayaking.

  2. Great place to start a run. Little Bay to Fort Totten, then down Cross Island to to the Northern Blvd exit makes for a 5k run. Round trip for a 10k. Throw in two rounds on Fort Totten in this route for about a 10 mile run. There are two soccer fields and a picturesque jetty. A true gem in the neighborhood.

  3. The walking path is absolutely perfect in distance and a wide open view of the water. There are children and older folks, walking, biking, walking their dogs, jogging, fishing. There’s a wonderful “little library”to pick up something’s to read. There is an ice cream truck parked in the parkinglot often. We love it

  4. My puppy loves the park and always has so much fun! Thank you to the volunteers who put the bags around the park and make sure there is a doggie pool in the summer. Mowgli and I Thank you!

  5. This dog park is very clean and well kept. There are 2 sections, a bigger section of the park is for larger dogs and the smaller section is for smaller dogs. Not many people knew the smaller portion was meant for the smaller dogs and often let the dachshunds play with the Alaskan malamutes in the big dog section.

Both areas have gravel and fountains for both human and dogs. Outside of the park there is a porta potty. Both sections have 2 double gate access points to prevent run away dog.

We’ve been there 5 times in total and of the 2 there were dogs injured and drew blood by another dog. None of the dogs were leashed.

The first time we witnessed this was a pit that almost tore a smaller mini poodles ear off, and the owner just left with the pit.

The second time was a husky who bit another dog’s neck and the victim’s owner left while the aggressors owner remained at the park.

We felt the park have some irresponsible owners.

And decided that we will visit every now and then.

Ewen park, a very nicely kept park with many features such as a basketball court, dog park, kids playground, a sitting area located on 234th street & Riverdale Ave. You’ll also find it fascinating to walk through the park itself and get a feel for it’s natural beauty such as the trees, slopes and hills which can be experienced by going up or down the sets of steps that make Ewen park a unique park gem.

This park is mostly for someone who needs to pass through it because they live farther away from the train station. There are a ton of steps, and there is also a basketball court. I saw some people sliding down on the snow yesterday. It’s nothing extraordinary, but at heart going through the park is better than going through traffic and busy city streets.

Very small park with one walkway, mostly a shortcut of stairs to get up a hill. The best part about it is that it has a dog run 🐶 park. I expected more from the park because visually it looks beautiful but it does not have much to explore or paths to walk around on.

A nice neighborhood park with a small, toddler playground, sitting areas, and basketball court. Note: the whole park is on a big hill, so you’ll likely be getting your incline steps in! Just take it slow, and it’s fine 😃

Cute little dog park. Was clean when I passed by with dogs playing. It feels smaller because of the background area, but it’s nearly as big as the one I just reviewed in queens so maybe it’s an NYC Park standard size. I’m not sure. But it’s cute and clean and glad it’s here. I hope to bring my dog here one day soon for the dog run park.

I and my dog enjoy it there. They have benches so you can relax and let dogs be dogs while they enjoy themselves. They have two caged in areas in case you have a sensitive dog or crazy dog. Some dogs gotta go slow till they get used to it. It has the entrance gate setup to prevent dogs getting hurt and your cool too. They have a water fountain for both you and your dog. Light years from how it used to be. Enjoy😁🐕‍🦺🐕

Nice open area, a big section for all Dogs and a small section for small dogs, but nothing really to play with besides tires.

It was nice. We were alone in the small dog park, we did some running around and had room to chase a ball. Wish some owners were responsible enough to curb their dogs as there are plenty of necessary tools to do so.

The children shouldn’t be playing in it. Its not the play ground. And it would have veen more enjoyable if the area around it wasn’t filled with so much trash.
