  1. Really useful and well-maintained with lots of trails, benches, bathrooms, and a dog park. Sufficient parking, too. Will definitely go again.

  2. This is a lovely park alongside the French Broad river. There is a paved greenway trail throughout the River Arts District on both sides of the river. It’s a great place to walk, run, bike, or skate. The park has clean restrooms.

  3. Great place for a stroll by the river. If you have dogs it’s one of the best dog parks in town too. I love that they connected the bike path through there so it makes it a great place to bike as well now.

  4. Incredibly beautiful and well maintained park. Bordering the French Broad River, the park offers plenty paved walking paths, great for biking also, and there’s ample space on large grassy areas for volleyball, frisbee tossing, croquet, or just lying around being lazy. Come on out and bring the family and friends and food and have lots of fun!

  5. Both sides of the river have bike, walking trails and lots stuff in 3mil walking distance, there also River access. Like Most City property here definitely could keep it more clean for safety

Wonderful place for a good walk alongside the river with my dog. He loved it but was loudest, unfriendliest dog there … tho always adorably cute. If we walked it daily I’m sure he would adjust. But we were visiting and he was excited.

We love this park! Large area for dogs 25+ pounds, small area for dogs under 25 pounds. Water and poo bags available. Along the river and beautiful. Within a lovely park with trails and restrooms.

This place has come a long way. The trail is very comfortable for jogs, runs 🏃‍♀️ or walks with a beautiful view of the French Broad River. Add me on Tiktok: @willramos11 for more beautiful places to visit.

Nice dog park. There is a small dog and large dog area. The fence is a little small. A dog with some agility, could jump over it. My biggest beef was the walk from the car. There are piles of glass everywhere. Seems to me some sick individuals put that out on purpose. That should be cleaned up.

Public restrooms, paved paths along the river. We specifically went with our dogs to the dog park. A nice space, only one spot that was a muddy pool. Otherwise, lots of tennis balls, and many pups to play with even on a weekday. There is a bowl and hose for water. Also benches and one table with trash cans and bags for poop. Our pups had a blast, our only complaint, which is why it’s 4 of 5 instead of 5 of 5 stars, is that off the paved paths to the dog park there is a ton of glass so be careful! We’ll be back when in Asheville!

Scenic and spacious sports complex nestled amongst the trees and hills of Asheville. We played a soccer tournament here over the weekend and loved the green, lush grass on the fields. The parking was a bit tight but everything else was great. There’s a large shelter with picnic tables, a few playgrounds for the younger kids, and a walking trail around the complex…great for getting your steps in between games. The shack bar has a few items for drink and eat, and the bathrooms are clean. There’s also a disc golf course with holes throughout the complex.

The first 4 holes are open and public which can be difficult on a weekend. There were kids playing soccer and families taking walks and a lot of cars driving by – makes it a little stressful! Once you get in the woods it’s a beautiful and challenging/fun course.

Went for the disc golf course while traveling through NC. Was a little worried at first because the first few tees were flat and around the soccer fields. Course was more challenging and interesting as it went on. Downside was an incredible amount of poison ivy. Impossible to avoid. Did get an ace on 17. Perfect straight downhill shot.

Makings of a great sports complex with significant limitations. Firstly, getting into the place is a nightmare. They have flagmen to help direct traffic as the entrance is extremely inconvenient due to traffic. This place needs at least one additional access point for vehicles. Parking seems to also be a problem. Vehicles parked all over green spaces as there seems to be insufficient parking. Finally, surrounding fences have no gateways, so you have to walk around to access the fields. These issues are fixable.

Went and threw a round of Disc Golf, they are still making modifications to the soccer & baseball fields. This means holes 2,3,4 & 5 are affected currently so you have to jump around and circumnavigate these issues. Other wise nicely laid out course with some challenging par 3’s with multiple elevation changes and plenty of trees for the budding lumber Jack’s amongst you.
