Eleven and one half months ago, Alexander’s replaced a engine coolant temperature sensor — that turned out to be faulty, right from the factory. (It was a new part. These things happen.) They replaced it today — without charge, as it fell within their twelve month parts warranty. And I didn’t have to bring it up. They *offered* to replace it. These folks know what they’re doing, stand by their work, do what they promise, and respect their customers. Another five stars.

I have a Mini Cooper S that ended up with a few issues and they let me know in detail step by step the problems and the severity of them. I chose this service center to get a recall fixed for my mothers vehicle. First thing to note, they had the best scheduling availability and were the most accommodating of the Nissan Service Centers I’ve been to. They really did a dynamite job. My service advisor was Shannon Rose. As others noted, I found her to be very helpful and attentive. The matter was resolved quickly and the multi point inspection was thorough. Never, never, never going to bring a car to this shop again. Where should I begin? I had an appointment for my 2017 Mercedes to have the sunroof assessed for damage due to an accident. Called for a status update the next day and they had not even looked at it yet. I asked why they made an appointment when they did not look at it for another day and the owner replied that they were busy. He was rude and condescending whenever I spoke with him. Three days later the insurance adjuster arrived and he told me they wanted to order all of these parts and then would send them back if they didn’t use them. He only approved payment for the inspection of the roof to assess the damage. Two days later (the car has now been in there shop for 10 days) I got a call telling me they did not have the expertise to do the inspection because it required removing the windshield and Mercedes does not readily share information/instructions of how to do the inspection. They charged me $150 for the “inspection” anyway.
Let me say this… as a woman, it was a total blessing to walk into this shop and not get the run around. The mechanics here and pure genius and spoke to me in very basic terms. The service manager, Dana, was like some guardian Angel sent who took into account my personal story and was able to let me use a loaner car while my car was in their shop so I could get back and forth to work/school. The peace of mind I now have when I drive back home to Texas is beyond valuable. Thank you to every last person that works under that business. I am completely humbled 🖤
I have to say that Dana was hands down the reason I wanted to fix my car here.
First of all, I drive a Volkswagen and almost all shops I called either turned me away or laughed about working on a messed up engine like mine. On the other hand going to the VW dealership would be financially out of the question.
When I called Uptown Import for a quote, Dana answered my call and give me knowledgeable and practical information about my options.
I trust when a person doesn’t try to sell me on why I should pick them.
I picked them and will continue to repair my vehicle here because during my whole experience I felt valued.
The mechanic call to tell me what he saw and his thoughts of concern. I okayed the work, then Dana called with the estimate and timeline. Everything went as planned with great work. Great experience for me and defiantly would recommend to others.👍
