He then went on to tell me that he is on vacation so I can go to the store and do it myself. The assistant sits in the office in air why we sat at the door for at least 10 minutes before she came out to let us in that happened more than once that was my reason for canceling but to know that. Nice car wash is definitely my favorite in the area and the cheapest wash is only $7. Comparable to a couple of the other car washes this is a really great price! On multiple occasions, including today, I had attempted to reach out to contact the business about my account while attempting to add my wife’s car to the monthly plan for an additional charge. They’d never answer the phone, nor clear the voicemail out to let me leave a message to get the job done.
I tried reaching out on Facebook a few weeks ago and was never responded to. Defeated and at my wit’s end, I wasn’t about to renew my membership. I went to the location a few minutes ago and had to physically go inside the location, speak with various employees, necessary to get the membership cancelled. One male individual did inquire about why I was cancelling the monthly membership. I replied you don’t answer your phone when I call in.
After reading a few previous reviews and responses, this has been an ongoing problem for sometime. When I brought it to their attention face-to-face, there were no free car washes offered – just hurt feelings and a lack of accountability. I recommend clearing your voicemail, updating your website, checking in routinely on Facebook, and simply answering your phone when customers call in with basic inquiries to pay for additional services. There’s too many automatic car washes in the area that practice this aforementioned common sense above rather than continually dealing with this unacceptable level of customer service on a month-to-month basis. Love this car wash. First drive through wash that thoroughly gets the waxing and drying down. I like the way rain beads down my windshield so I know they are using product and not just something watered down. Would recommend. I don’t detail my car any more.
I had a years pass. They scratched the hood of my car BADLY. I reached out to customer service and they told me basically there’s no way to prove it was from their machine. NEVER GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Go ANYWHERE else besides RAINSTORM.
I’m a widowed mother of 2 children so I must watch every dime and the fact their machines ruined the hood of my car and they did NOTHING about it says exactly how they really feel about their customers.
I used to use this carwash until the conveyor belt system pushed my vehicle into another vehicle and not only did they not pay for the damage done to my vehicle which by all their standards was not under what they say they do not cover. They continued to charge my account for service I was not using and when I asked for my money back they told me no and said they would just stop charging my card from there on out. I do not recommend this service.
Love the washing part of the car wash plus the vacuums. However, their location near Meijer in Bloomington/Normal does not dry the car. Unless I get a rag and hand dry the entire car it is water spotted until the next time I drive through. When I enrolled in one of their plans there was a drying unit at the end of the car wash that actually dried the car. Others have told one of their other locations does a better job. That is great, but I am not willing to waste the gas to drive to the other side of town. May need to cancel membership and look for a car wash that does a better job.
Car wash is very unpredictable. Sometimes all the brushes work and spin as they should most of the time not. Sometimes your vehicle gets soaked in soap and water and sometimes it gets ran through dry. Last time this happened I went in and complained and there only solution was to run it again. It’s funny because after I complained I got the best wash that my truck has ever seen. All brushes worked all soap wan wax dispensers worked. It’s like the operator has control of what settings are used in the carwash and they are purposely turning down the wash. I wish another nearby wash could accommodate my truck but there are none around.
