They used to be very good when I gave 5 stars a few years back but I believe this business has changed hands once or twice. In the changing, they now have a bunch of disinterested kids who cannot lift their heads from their phones and several vacuuming stations that don’t work at the busiest times. Also, I have complained and shown managers on duty (on more than a few occasions) about their tire shine feature which does not apply product to all tires of the car, evenly. One side being dull or not getting any product at all. Never requested to go through again for free; just figured they’d fix it. As a rideshare driver, I spend a fair amount of money at the wash and will continue to use this one, only if I need a quick clean, but my preference is now FINS or Time to Shine on Savannah Hwy.By NATIVNEWYAWKA2 (2 months ago)It was my first time visiting the Time to Shine car wash . The local Audi dealer believed in Time to Shine enough to partner up with them to service their clients . The wash was quick and complete .
During my visit I had a small HICCUP . The staff was very accommodating and apologetic about the situation.
Josh Hagan went above and beyond to make sure my issue was resolved . Josh and his staff displayed outstanding customer service in a situation that could have easily went the other way .
Thanks Josh for having a great team and being a great leader for them to follow .

The staff is friendly and you always see them around, just in case you need them. The vacuums actually suck!! I mean that in the best way possible, I don’t have to worry about not being able to get the sand out of my seats and mats at this place. I went through the West Ashley location. The wash malfunctioned and the large vertical brush hooked the front of my car causing damage to my 21 day old car. If this wasn’t bad enough, Fins has never returned any of my phone calls regarding this incident. Every time I went there I was told I had to wait for a call from the manager. I did stop by and speak with someone at the Mount Pleasant location, who was very pleasant and was able to cancel my membership at least. He basically insinuated that it didn’t matter, as he’d seen this before and Fins will find a way to say that I purposely caused the problem. (Like I’m going to purposely damage my brand new car)At this point I’ve given up trying and am going to have to live with the damage until I can afford to fix it myself. I would say this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with both the service it self and customer service. No communication at all.By Big girls hike TOO (a year ago)So I went to this bait and switch car wash with my 96 Cadillac because I’m on a budget. It says 5 dollars for wash. It’s really not a wash just water and dryer. No soap was listed on the screen so I had to choose the 15 dollar option. So for starters I over spent what I wanted to because of how they engineered to trap you in the line so you can’t back up. Then for the 15 dollar option that I was forced to choose had an under carriage wash included. Well I knew something was off about this place if AAA was part of the business as they advertised. So I get about half way home and start smelling fuel from inside the car. My gas gauge dropped dramatically. The car shut off. I managed to start it and finish my journey home. I lost 40 in gas, 10 in the bait and switch, and 200 for the repair. I called Fins and talked to manager Zack. I told him what happened and treated me as if I was lieing. All he said to me was that there was no way that there was enough pressure for the plastic clamp to come loose on the fuel hose and that he has never heard that before…… really guy don’t you need a lot of pressure to clear stuck on debry from underneath the car. This is the only car was that has this option. I wonder if its because they are partnered with AAA. Either way your business owes me 250 plus interest. Also there was so much fuel spillage as I was driving the car could have caught on fire!!!!!!!!!!By Paul Langevin (6 months ago)I like the wash However, the availability of the mat wash is a disappointment. It has been out of service for months. The wash in Greenville has 2, and both work.
The process to check in with the app is suspect and problematic, so don’t count on a AAA member discount. In general it is easier and less hassle to purchase the least expensive wash to clean the exterior and move on.
Without the mat washer I would not advise paying for the higher priced options because in the end you will still have dirty mats.
3 stars for being a decent wash, minus 2 stars for the length of time the mat washer has been out of service and no expected return.By Byron Gainey (4 months ago)Their car wash is amazing, splurge for the wheel clean it’s worth it! Unlimited towels and vacuums at the end! They also provide free windex! DS has a longer bldg. and more time for the wash. Fins has a shorter bldg and has to be much more aggressive to wash in a shorter amount of time. We were actually laughing when the spinning brushes were whacking our car. If your not used to this it’s like your car is getting mugged. It did bend our antenna but we have the old tall style, not the new types that would be fine. The wash was fine and fit the 15$. The automatic mat machine was down so I tried the manual and my mats came out with more dirt than they started with. I think cleaning the machine would eliminate that problem. This is the 2nd time I have used In & Out Wash. The first time I was disappointed with the services I received, but decided to give them one more try. Both times I have taken my car in to have the inside and outside cleaned, it was done very poorly. It looked as if no one cleaned the inside. I am better off doing it myself or take it further down the road to have someone else do it. The pictures don’t really so it justice due to lighting. You have to zoom in to fully see how nasty my car was left, after it had been “cleaned”.
Car is still dirty after paying 79$ for a full detail service!!! As well as my seats!!
They do an excellent job!!!! It has an antique store inside, a big comfy couch, soda machine, and a TV. I had to take my bosses Lexus there. It’s the only place he takes his car so you know they’re good!!!
If you want your cleaned and done right go to in and out. I went there on Wednesday the people were very nice. But all meals my car was perfect they really cleaned my car.
Acceptable quality for the price. Although I didn’t really like that they work with such rush so minimum attention to detail. Still if you have trouble washing your car inside, just get there and they will provide you a nice cleaning.
