- Reviews:It’s been like that for a few years now, but shopping at this place feels out of place. That’s mainly because the stock is always out of season. For example I couldn’t get Halloween decorations but only Christmas oddities in October. The alleys are so cramped up with goods that you barely can circulate or even shopping since you’re always blocking someone else when you stop walking. It feels like the manager in charge has hoarding issues, really. And don’t dare shopping online. Their website is lagging, the products are often not in stock when shown otherwise, you receive parts of what asked for and so on. The cherry on the cake is that clerk always waiting for you at the entrance enticing you to subscribe you to a new credit card. The problem is that sometimes the aisle mention in the website does not match the product location in store. This have happen to me many times. In addition, sometimes they forget to update the stock online. The product is out of stock in store but on website it shows that it is in stock. They need to correct these things. The qualities of the purchased goods are always good. They have offer most of the time. I had to visit their autoshop three times because of their mistakes as they put wrong Odometer on the receipt! There were many other miscommunications as I had to pay a full price for a tire installation that never mounted! Every time I tried to get the correct quote before the service, the person was just dodging me! While CT offers Turo promo code, their people were not trained to fill Turo inspection form! So I let them inspect, to confirm the problems, but I No longer trusted any of their competencies, especially after the very rude customer services, so i will bring my car to a different place to fix the same problem. I’ve ordered several sets of tires: passenger car, racing compound, and off-road/all-terrains.
PMC had them all at prices that allow me to save 1-200$ per set by taking them to my mechanic for install/balance.
Delivered to my door days ahead of advertised and all sets had recent manufacturing dates (last few months), which was welcoming to know I wasn’t getting something that had been drying out in a warehouse somewhere.
Online fitment to vehicle and ordering process were smooth as one could hope for. Rims arrived a week ahead of schedule (two days after order!) and fit perfectly. They look great with our new snow tires, which were mounted just in time!!
The tires and rims are good. Delivery was 2 days later than estimated because the rims were out of stock. However, the reason I am giving 2 stars is because the TPMS sensors were not programmed properly and did not sync with my 2019 RDX and kept giving this error. I had to go to a local tire shop and pay out of my own pocket to clone and program them. PMC would not reimburse for this expense.
Excellent customer service. Good prices. Great tires. 40×13.5R20. Great tread, not overly aggressive so should be quiet on the highway. I’ll be getting another set of aggressive tread for offroad use. Purchased 5 tires so I have a matching spare.
I have only positive experience with PMC. I was hesitant at first, as it was my first purchase of Tyres online. Price was very good, delivery fast and Tyres I got were very fresh – manufactured in January 2023. I will definitely come back next time I need a set of Tyres or rims.
