I came to CT Beuport and they said the knock sensor have to be replaced and it’s gonna be done the next day. Next day when I took the car I immediately noticed a ticking sound in engine and immediately brought to the manger’s and mechanic’s attention. There was a loose cover lying on the engine as well, which they said it’s not required hence they did not fix. For the noise the manager pressed the gas pedal and said it’s OK and will go away. I had to return to Toronto. When I came back to Toronto the engine light again came back, I took it to nearest CT, since the repair was done at CT. They informed that the car did not have engine oil and that had what caused the problem. It should have been checked at CT Beuport. And the mechanic did not fix one of the hoses in engine properly which caused the ticking sound. Highly unprofessional and incapable staff. They did not just risk the car engine but also me and my family. Engine could have seized on the way or anything could have happened. I would never recommend this Canadian Tire, not even to change the washer fluid in the car. Visiting QC and new tires on car were losing air! Petrol station air machines didn’t work or just took my C/dollars. Lexus dealership was abrupt, service had just closed (not 17h yet)! Found Canadian Tire and the young man attending could not be more helpful! Checked every tire and added air to all! Lovely manners and perfect service! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Merci
