Every time I go in and she is working she makes a point of following me and eyeballing my bags while at the till ! The last time I was in she was working at customer service, I went to her to check out , and all she could do was stair at my purse in the cart. I asked her what the problem was and she wouldn’t answer me . I finally looked at the gloves that were atop of my purse and assured her they were not from Canadian tire ! She looked at me in disbelief, so I grabbed them off of my purse and placed them on the counter in front of her showing her that they were actually “India Motorcycle “ and will never be sold at Canadian Tire , and can only be purchased at Indian Motorcycle shops! She got a very unfriendly look on her face as she said” will that be all ?!” “Yes thank you !” She is always like this with me and I have actually left and gone to a different Canadian Tire store to avoid any negative interaction as I have a panic disorder and it can cause me to have seizures now . But everyone else is helpful cheerful and I do enjoy the return bin and hope our local store will eventually get on board ! Honestly , make the trip into Deerfoot city location they price match different retailers and Canadian tires. Plus they often have awesome clearance deals happening. It’s worth the extra 15 mins drive . As per your reply to contact customer care . That was done ✔️ Already . Honestly , it’s the owner of the store who determines these things . They could choose to price check other stores even Canadian tire stores . I’d advise customers that it’s different from store to store depending on what the owner feels like doing . I called and talk to a man and told him exactly what I needed and he confirmed that is what would happen to my car. Only half the job got done in 3 times the allotted. Not to mention because of their half done job my car now has lot more damage than if I would have just left it. Telling your customer you can’t price match an item that is available in store that is cheaper at your other locations isn’t a win for anyone. If prices are different from location to location and you can’t price match then every location should have the same price. I’ve had prior issues at this location. - Reviews:Went for an oil change and asked if they could check out a engine light. Would not have done so if I knew that charged 50$ for this. While it’s my fault for assuming, I have never had any mechanic charge for this, ever. Most car part places are happy to do it as well. I ended up waiting a frustrating two hours to receive my vehicle back. When I went to pay I was told that two of my tires had leaks, that they fixed, both at no charge. So yes, they were backed up and I was very irritated, but they took accountability and comped the work, and I didn’t even have to ask. Again an unfortunate scenario but this time the manager took it upon himself to make sure my situation was well taken care of. He ensured my appointment was rescheduled for both cars in a timely fashion and that all parts were available for a smooth experience. He also offered a discount for all the inconvenience caused during the last 2 visits. Turned out to be a very good experience this time around. **OLD REVIEW** I went in this past weekend to get my tires swapped over to a winter set. Had placed an order for new rims and tires (all in stock) over a week ago. Showed up for my appointment, checked in with the front desk staff. They took the keys and said it’ll take about 1.5 hours as anticipated. I waited for 1.5 hours and then the mechanic showed up with my keys and a piece of paper telling me that the rims have not even arrived from Edmonton. They never checked in to let me know and made me sit for the whole time and didn’t bother letting me know a much sooner or before my appointment that I couldn’t get that done. Told me to reschedule for this week. Not sure if the rims are still going to arrive in time for my appointment. I understand that this is that busy time of the year but that doesn’t mean you do not take accountability for screwing up orders. First time at this location and already feeling a sour taste. I had my brakes replaced in December and was experiencing a shimmy in my steering. I was told that my back brakes were bad the drums all of it had to be replaced to the tune of 2k. This caused me to really feel weird about what they were saying so I took it for a second opinion. My back brakes were fine but needed adjustment it was my front brakes that needed attention they even found my park brake lines had been cut. So had I gone with kal tire I would have replaced a bunch of stuff I didn’t need to just to then need my front brakes replaced which they mentioned nothing about. Such a poor service experience. *I see your response to everyone is to email. I think you should email this info off. I think it’s a really poor reply just to show you did. Roger and his team were fantastic when it was discovered that my summer tires were no longer road worthy. Not only did they complete a thorough inspection of each tire, they personally walked me through their concerns and why they recommended buying a new set of tires. I never felt pressure to purchase from them, but Roger provided detailed information of various options that would be suitable, should I choose to buy from them. The end result was of higher quality than I expected and without their guidance, I likely would have bought a lesser quality product for the same price, if not more. I am glad I decided to book an appointment with Tires on the Run.
What an amazing experience! Roger and his team sure saved my butt on short notice. I was changing my daughter’s tires to winters on my own in my garage. One of the rims had seized and I could not get it off the post. I called Roger at 3pm and he had me come in at 7:30pm during the busiest time of year and helped get the last tire swapped out. They even cleaned the rim and post so it won’t seize again. On top of that, he didn’t charge me! Amazing service!
Roger is such a good human! All around amazing experience. I’ve booked two sets of winter tires with him as gifts for others and had no issues!
Good follow up, quick and solid service. When other places had no availability or more than a month out, Roger was busy, but still able to accommodate all my service requests. He had good tips for dependable tires that wouldn’t break my budget. So thoughtful.

I couldn’t be more impressed by the above and beyond service this establishment provided to me in a desperate time of need. They were completely transparent, honest and friendly from start to finish.
My tire blew out in Airdrie on my way to Edmonton. I was in a dangerous location on the highway and couldn’t even stick my head out the window to see the damage. As I waited for a tow truck I called Tires on the run to see if they could repair/fix my tire. Unfortunately I couldn’t tell them over the phone what tires I have or the damage, so THEY DROVE TO ME to check. They assessed the damage as best they could, and told me they would see if a tire could be brought in. I still had time waiting for a tow and he went back to the shop to check and called me to let me know a tire could be brought in. Once I arrived, my car wasn’t even in the garage for more than 30 seconds and the flat tire was already removed and the hole found. They were able to repair it instead costing me hundreds less then the initial quote! I was back on the road again very soon after! These guys work fast and are very honest! I have been recommending their tire services to everyone I know! Thank you Tires on the run for your help that evening!😊
