My truck wouldn’t start on a cold morning (-18°). I am from another state and had need to travel. I called around town and pretty much everyone told me it’d be Dec 30 at best before they could look at my truck. This was the Wednesday before Christmas. I called J&M and using the tow company they work with they got my truck in later that day and was fixed early the next afternoon. I dealt with Matt and Josh. I felt the service was superior and they were very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this business. He was a pleasure to speak with. This is what happened, another mechanic did our brake pads and for a heavy price recommended alternater replacement. Had a feeling I should contact someone else. They never try to talk you in to repairs you don’t need. Everyone is honest, kind, and always happy to answer any questions! The truck was in the shop less than an hour total. Cost over $170 for labor to replace the PVC vacuum hoses. (Our parts). Then they told her there was still a vacuum leak, and they wanted to charge another $175 to smoke test it. I guess that’s what they mean by small town pricing. This was my 1st time using this place. Its an excellent place. The Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The guys in the shop was very quick and accurate to doing the work needed done and gone above what is expected. I loved their compliment that Everything was in excellent condition and clean all needed was a polish, I never had a compliment like that before and It just made my day much better. I love this place and will be taking my Escape there when I need work done. Excellent place. They get you in and out and if need something else, they will let you know. I’ve had my truck in to them twice now and if I need work done again, I’ll go back. Everyone was kind, respectful, and interesting (skateboarders in Sioux Falls – who knew!) My old truck with 145k miles on it just might make it to 200k now. It runs better now than it has in years. Best of all, I’ve had it back for nearly 3 weeks and no leaks. When you are new to an area and far from family, it means even more to find a group of hard working people who care about their customers, not just their vehicles, the people. I usually have bad experiences with car care centers, but I heard really good things about 12th st auto so decided to give them a call. I Had an amazing experience today. Tony was very friendly and helped me get a new battery installed quickly. I will definitely go back for all my car care needs!
This is my go to whenever I’m having trouble with my car. They are able to get you in quickly and work on your vehicle in a timely manner. The staff is super friendly and doesn’t try to upsell you on things you don’t need. Very nice place, would recommend!
Our alternator went out on our vehicle and after stopping at Billion and they wouldn’t help us we went here. They squeezed us in and got it fixed for us. I had my wife and 3 little kids along. This place is top notch! 100% would refer this place to anyone. Very helpful and very friendly. Jeremy Shanks helped us and he was very kind and helpful. A great place!
There are not enough good things to say about this team and business. I’ve been using them for a few years and have never had a bad experience. The guys are all so friendly and always make sure to check up on me in regards to the services they provide. I know exactly where to take any problem I may have with my vehicle 😊
Edit: Had an appointment yesterday to switch out my headlights. Aaron and Zach were early to pick up my vehicle for the appointment which is awesome! Jeremy kept me in the loop the whole time and made sure I understood exactly what was happening with my car at every point in the process. I love that I am never in the dark and am never treated like I should just blindly trust whatever they’re doing. I have never had a bad experience here and 100% recommend.
The guys at the front desk are always super helpful. The work has been excellent every time. The shuttle service was timely. Jeremy Shanks was especially helpful on an airbag warning light and did extensive research. I highly recommend them!
