I would not recommend anyone to take his/her car to this shop. I took my car to fix headlight and came with with triple problems. The crew is not polite. I Brought my vehicle in knowing basically what was was wrong but wanted confirmation . I just couldn’t do the work myself because where I moved doesn’t allow auto maintenance on the property. I got the most expensive quote I have ever seen for strut replacement and a list of other simple repairs and estimates. Their labor hourly rate is the highest I have seen . I will not return to this greedy business ever again.
I reached out to Al’s Auto Repair after a poor experience with the auto dealer I previously used to service my car. The dealer suggested I needed a $2,000 repair. Go smacked by that suggestion — I reached out to a couple of local mechanics to see if they could help me. Al’s was able to diagnose the issue my dealer said would cost almost $2,000 to repair. And they did if for $85.00. Eye opening for sure. Al’s has friendly and honest associates and mechanics working for them. Further, their shuttle service is a big plus as well. Very pleased with work on my car to date. On a scale of 0 — 10 — with 0 being poor and 10 being excellent — the have earned a 10.
I went to Al’s for a state inspection for my vehicle. Unfortunately my vehicle failed. For reasons I didn’t understand. They stated I needed front and rear brakes which was false. I had my brakes done in December. The estimate I was provided was very steep. Also said I needed light bulbs for my license plate area and wanted to charge me 80$ to change a light bulb I had done at autozone for 10. I would not recommend this business to my dog.
