- Reviews:Well the thing is, it’s a great place to do picnic. Although I went there as a school assignment, there was nice greenery, soccer field, 2 if need more than . It was fun, and the view was great, a little chilly (in the morning). If you live near the area, you should spend time there.By Benimaru Tempest (6 months ago)Very muddy or dirty usually not a lot of grass. But very spacious park! My dog loves it.By Alex Bentson (a month ago)Large dog park with separate smaller section for small dogs. Many regulars to this park so if you go regularly you will start getting to know the other dogs and owners. For the most part the dogs have been well behaved and friendly and owners responsible. The park can get very muddy during rainy season.By Kristi Baumbach (3 years ago)Cute little park with owners who don’t pick up their dog’s poop. Literally just watched someone’s dog take a dump right in front of their owner and the owner didn’t even care. There aren’t any poop bags provided but I doubt that would make a difference. I usually come during the morning or afternoon and I’m usually the only person in the small dog side. After work or on weekends the small dog side can get very crowded very quickly.By Grace Yau (4 years ago)It’s not huge, but there’s running room & some seating and shade. This park is separated by dog size which some people like. There are nearby restrooms which is important for us humans!!!By Delaina Swenson (4 years ago)

- Reviews:Small, clean and our dog loves it! Love that there’s an area for large dogs and another for smaller dogs to avoid some potentially nasty fights between dogs. Not too big so you can safely watch over dog from one place.By Charity Mugasha (2 months ago)I love this place☺️ I don’t have a dog but it’s fun watching them run around. I usually come here to make music cuz it’s nice and somewhat private. It’s a little loud cuz there’s a bridge for cars that runs overhead. The park is literally on the levee though and you can walk right to the river which also leads you to the bike trail.By Mary Mitchell (3 months ago)We(My Fur Baby& I) love this park, we usually go when it’s cool. We walk on the trail behind the Dog Park 1st them My Fur Baby is turned loose in the Small Dog park to run & get more energy out before we go home.By OhitikahWin Beautiful Bald Eagle (6 months ago)Like this place but not thrilled with a lot of the people that bring unfriendly dogs here. Dogs to watch for: Oreo (small black and white), and Pepper (orange black with pink harness). These owners seem to be careless and don’t think twice about the fact that their dogs are not friendly and make other animals and owners feel unsafe.By Ashley Davis (a month ago)Nice spot, seems clean and friendly… Lots of picnic tables outside the dog area to hangout. We came after it rained so it was pretty dirty, but packed down so not really muddy. My one small complaint is the small dog park seems way bigger than the large dog park… Maybe they get more small dogs? Either way, I’d be back!By Jenn K (3 years ago)

Its on the smaller side, good sized for midtown Sacramento and well lit at night. Open until 10pm, very nice for late evening dog exercise. Parking nearby is limited. Sand only, plenty of seating for people. Large and small dogs have separate fenced areas. The running water feature for dogs to drink is hygienic and clean. Nice murals and landscaping. Cute climbing sculpture outside the fenced areas for kids
This is part of our daily routine. There’s plenty of room for the fur babies to get their wiggles out and lots of grinding people to chat with. It’s kept very clean and owners are pretty diligent on watching after their dogs
Chill spot to walk the pups to.. great local crowd too. Our little Pommy Apollo loves to hang out in the big dog park with his sister Luna…
I don’t even have a dog but I like watching them run around. It’s cute and the park is small but super scenic and pretty. Plus there’s giant letters in front of the park that spell “BARK”
It was a well designed, clean space, but somewhat small, especially for larger dogs, and there was a lack of community toys. Other than that, it’s a friendly environment with a great ambiance. Great use of city space.
