- Reviews:The dog park is ok, though it’s obvious people don’t clean up after their dogs. Dog feces all around. There was broken glass in a few spots around the trail (paved). Overall it’s a pretty peaceful walk, and quite scenic.By Rubi Gallegos (a year ago)I have always enjoyed bringing Finley to this park, people come and leave lots of toys and balls for everyone to play with, if people would just leave them at the park. Closes at dusk but there are beautiful walking trails and a map out front by the dam to select and view courses. The police routinely horseback the trails for safety, and I am grateful for their presence, especially when getting dark and you may be walking alone. Many people cycle and run so respect common courtesy for them. Please don’t forget your doggy bags to preserve for future visitors.By jennifer deragon (a month ago)Great big dog park. My 4 absolutely loved it.By Ashley Lee (in the last week)It’s a good park. There are always lots of dogs, but with that come the fun and responsibilities that come with lots of dogs. Sometimes there are scuffles, but most usually they are stopped quickly, and everyone can get back to the fun. there are bag stations and trash cans so you can clean up after they poop. I really appreciate the fountain to help keep all our pals cool. The only wish is that there was more shade during those brutal Nashville summers.By Caleb Watson (4 years ago)The dog park was a great place to stop with our pup on our long drive. There were water fountains and restrooms tight out front and water for the dogs inside. It was clean and had grass, rocks, and cement for the dogs to run on. Plenty of space and a number of spots to sit (for humans). Shade was a bit lacking though.By Shelby Roberts (a year ago)

Park itself is awesome. Extremely large play area with different levels and plenty shade. Multiple places to sit and watch your dogs play. Only downfall is there is only one water fountain in the park. Which is fine except for the middle of summer with a large group of dogs. Ranks in the top two of the parks I’ve gone.
LOVE THIS BEAUTIFUL PARK. Such a scenic and serene location. Highly recommend to bring your dog.
Great dog park, rarely is it very busy. We had the entire place to ourselves mid-day during the week.
My Girl Merrick loved this park all the dogs (big and small) were so nice, the humans were friendly. I’m not sure how new the park is, with the graded landscape it makes some parts somewhat dangerous with the amount of straight MUD, super slick. Won’t stop us from coming back. 🐾🐕🐕🦺🐩
Love to let my dog run here early in the morning, a very friendly park, a lot of room to run and a separate small dog park nearby.
