- Reviews:A great place to take family. Don’t be afraid of the ducks, they’re used to being fed so they will come close to you if you’re sitting in the swing. I just sat there and eventually they went away. You van walk the trails, eat at the picnic tables, or enjoy the scenery. I definitely recommend this place.By Raynada Franks (2 months ago)Nice big park but falling apart. Clearly the usual visitors don’t have any decency as trash litters the area. Whoever manages the park isn’t doing much for upkeep. Good spot to let your kids run though during that drive from home to Gulf Shores though! (Carry though)By Anthony Rainier (a year ago)I would love to say Langan Park was the most beautiful park in the city and surrounding area. Unfortunately I cannot. 😢 I know improvements are ongoing, but so much more should be done. Cleaning up the lake area. Clearing and new planting on all the little islands. Also, plants/shrubs etc., Should bring color year round, especially around the walking paths. Nice seating all along and in the park area. Also, more intimate play areas for children having parties so they can stay with their group and their parents can keep a better eye on them. I hope Mobile will make this their #1 park for all it’s people. It could be a destination place for all ages.By Sue Salter (3 weeks ago)It’s a large park with a very nice paved walkway that winds around near the art museum. There is a lake with ducks/ geese, and a playground area for children. There is a disc golf course, too. It’s a great place to spend an afternoon or picnic at. Many people go here to walk or jog as well. Part of it is being updated soon. I’m looking forward to seeing the changes.By Caisy CG (a year ago)Fantastic park. Beautiful scenery. I love the wildlife, walking trails and picnic area. It’s a fantastic place for birthday parties, a morning or afternoon walk, run, bike and don’t forget the furbabies. The park is always clean and the landscape is maintained. There is are trails across the bridge behind the museum to the left and right. The left trail is a bit more challenging for those of us willing to go the extra mile and leads up the hill around to the tennis courts and back to Ziegler. The restrooms are on the main park side near Ziegler are very clean and usually open during park hours, they lock at dusk. Enjoy the park, keep it clean, don’t feed the ducks (several we’re killed a year or so ago, people feed them but complained about the poop on the walkway) feed the seagulls and have a wonderful day.By Anne Martin (a month ago)

- Reviews:Lovely place to go for a walk or watch the birds. Wish the bathrooms were cleaner.By Amanda Whyatt (3 months ago)IT WAS NICE VERY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT… OUR CHILDREN LOVED THE WALK (TRAIL)By JaMesha Cheese (6 months ago)What a great natural spot to visit, walk around, ride your bike, or eat at the shed. We spotted an alligator who was calmly sunbathing at the shore. We also followed a wide variety of birds and ducks, and a large group of swimming turtles. The lake and its surrounding seemed clean and inspiring. It is mentioned online that there is a water pad in this park, but there was none when we visited in November.By Shoshana (2 years ago)A great unexpected treasure!!! Day Lake is full of turtles and waterfowl, and I’ve seen an alligator on one visit. Great walking paths along 3 mile creek and a small, but enjoyable park.By Ricci Day (3 months ago)Very well kept. Great area to bring family, work out or to just recenter yourself. The park has information about the wildlife around the area. The water park is also clean and available.By Trudy Gage (3 months ago)

This is a nice park. I saw lots of people with dogs enjoying dog park area. Kids were also enjoying the playground. I enjoyed the walking trails in pretty woods areas. There was plenty of room to park and places for picnics. There were plenty of birds in this park.
My kid lives in the park, and the splash pad was a big hit over the summer. The splash pad schedule seemed to be some what of a hit and miss, though. Hopefully, next summer, there will be a bit more consistency. The reason I docked a star is for the restroom. In all honesty, outhouses would be more sanitary and usable. The smell was awful. I wouldn’t go near the toilet or allow my boys near it. We used the restroom to get them changed into their suits for the splash pad. The heat in there made everything feel sticky and humid, which increased the smell and filth feeling. Next time, I’ll just get him changed in the parking lot if he has to change there. Overall, if you don’t need the facilities, I 100% recommend the park and splash pad
This is the best park in Mobile for kids. This park offers so much. My understanding is that it is 80 acres total. Wide concrete walking/running path. You could roller blade, too. Also there are trails in the wooded areas and half of these trails have a disc golf course. There are multiple tennis courts available. I think a small fee is asked. Summer time, you have a splash pad for the kids. Soccer fields, baseball fields, and football field. Let’s not forget the two dog park areas. One for small and the other for large. Please pick up after your pet’s and if they are unsociallized, it would be best to take them when there are not many there.
What a great place to take a child and let them play. I took my 4-year-old grandson and he played really hard for 2 hours. This giant playground is awesome. I’m used to a rope hanging from a tree and maybe 2 swings. This place is like a kids dream.
There are benches for the adults to sit on. I had a hard time keeping up with where my grandson was. Look at the pictures and you’ll see why.
I highly recommend you take the kids here.
This park has everything: Football, Baseball, Tennis, Gymnastics, Walking Trails, A playground, dog park, restrooms, large parking lot, and the woods. Plenty of people walking, jogging, or with their dogs. I think this park has the best playground in Mobile, it is five times the size of other playgrounds. Great place, and safe.
