- Reviews:One of my favorite places in Little Rock! Come here once a week and love it every time! If it’s a nice day out and after 3pm expect to see 20+ people in an hour!By Andrew Kerchner (a year ago)This is an amazing dog park! It is real big, clean, and has plenty of running and playing room for your dog(s). There are 2 seperate sections. One for large dogs, and one for small dogs. Many people do not use the one for small dogs, and just bring them into the large area. The large dog area, has a couple water spickets, a lot more running and playing space, and the owners pick up their dogs waste 99% of the time. There are waste bags, and trash cans for it too. My dad and I bring our dog many times every week for a few years now, and have never stepped in any. McArthur Park is a very beautiful park, and the dog park fits right in. We’ve seen and been to many, and this is the biggest, best one that we have.By Karmyn Lei (2 months ago)Like this park, we take our dog there quite often and it has always been friendly and no issues. There are always friendly dogs there it seems. People have always been nice as well.By Travis Thomas (a month ago)An amazing place to take your dogs!! And to go fishing! The dog park is so big!! And they have a trail to walk on if you just want some exercise! Its beautiful!By Bri Reed (2 years ago)So spacious and clean! Could use more shade but they have a water feature and hose for the pups! Bring your own balls, they have very few when I went. Friendly and fun!By Stephanie Guzman Guevara (4 years ago)

- Reviews:There is so much space here to exercise, interact with dogs, study, enjoy a nice relaxing day, have lunch, etc. At all times of the day you will find many people doing various activities. The dog park is open to individuals without dogs as well, and there is plenty of parking and frequent rest stops and restrooms scattered around the area.By Ubalubi (2 months ago)Love to come to our local soccer games and playgrounds!! Always beautiful and peaceful!! We came back today and volleyball courts are ready!!By Lorena Barrera-Shankle (2 months ago)Nice park unless it’s been raining a lot. But beware of dog owners who don’t pay attention to their dogs. My dog has been beat up pretty badly twice here and the owners were not helpful.By Eileen Murray (a month ago)The dog park has the water up and running there now so that’s a huge plus..Plenty of new doggie pools for my pup to play and drink from. very large open fenced in area so tons of running room for my German shepherd. Enough tennis balls and sticks to keep any dog occupied for hours. Picnic tables and benches for anyone to rest. Paved walking path to get some laps in if you’re looking for a nice walk. Overall very nice pooch park in the city. Plenty of shade and activities in the whole park. If you’re furry friend is agile and likes challenges there is some tires and structures to get them to navigate.By Nicholas Panozzo (6 months ago)I love there is so much peace. A bike trail, ab walking trail paved and natural and pavilions with wifi and bbq pits. Boat ramps dog park clean bathrooms. Just a skip and a jump from my front doorBy Anita Siler (a year ago)

Newly re done, so many things added. Both for kid’s and adults alike. Nice view of downtown. Right on the river. Come play, walk, or just grab a bench and enjoy watching the boats on the Arkansas River.
The pond provides recreation for kids and adults who wanted to fish. They stock trout in winter and cat fish during summer. I would recommend not to feed ducks there as their huge population already of them. They organize catfish tournaments (The Big-Catch) 2 times annually which draws huge crowds, where there is music, food and entertainment along with prizes at end of it. i hope they maintain the pond clean and its surroundings.
This is our favorite park in little rock! I have grown up and frequented alot of parks around little rock and North little rock area, this is by far our favorite. They offer wifi, street hockey court, multiple ponds and playground for the kiddos as well as horseshoe and dog parks. Wide open area lots of room to run and play and be solitary if wanted. Couldnt be happier with the park and people. Thanks
Been going here since I was a kid. Love the historical displays and just the history of this facility. General of the Army Douglas MacArthur was actually born in this building. His father was transferred when he was 6 months old. You should come visit every chance you get!
This is a real relaxing, historic park. The pond is big, fishing is allowed, there is a big playground, tons of walking space, a real nice pavilion, and two fenced in dog parks, one for small dogs, and one for big dogs. It’s all free, kept clean, mowed, and taken care of. You should definitely check it out!
