  1. Despite having lived in the area since 1993, today was my first time visiting this phenomenal dog park!! The parking lot was sufficient. Upon entering, it is quite stinky, but luckily, that didn’t stay the case.

There are multiple different areas of this park: small dog area, agility area, lots of trails with a low flowing stream throughout. Plenty of trees, which offer ample shade much. There are constant trash cans in an attempt to keep the place clean. Of course, there will always be those who feel it is o their duty to clean up after their pets apparently and unfortunately… sufficient seating throughout if necessary.

Awesome place that I will definitely be visiting more often.

  2. We come here every week several times and this dog park is by far the best we have ever visited. There is this beautiful creek running through one side of the park where the dogs can play hide and seek, drink fresh cold water and enjoy the shadows of many green trees. The views are amazing and there is also an extra fenced dog training area, and area for small dogs and a restroom with two toilets. The whole park is so beautiful and has many benches, trash bins, waste bags and memorial statues of dog lovers.
The atmosphere is so good here and we never had problems with other dogs or dog owners. Everyone seems to be very careful and the park is overall very clean. We rarely find dog waste or trash on the ground.
The dogs really enjoy the whole area and even if you don’t own a dog come here and walk the loop! It’s outstanding and even one of the best dog parks in the U.S.

  3. This is very large 10 acre dog park with a nice creek running through the back corner of the lot. There is a large dog area with 2 entrances off the parking lot and a small dog area with one entrance off the parking and other within the large dog area. Lots of space for the dogs to run and play. They do have benches, restrooms, dog bag stations, and water. Everyone was nice and dogs all got along. There was still dog piles around from people not cleaning up after their pets. Just remember to clean up after your pets bags are provided.

  4. Bear Creek is the best dog park ever! It is 25 acres of open space with trails, a creek and an agility area. All the dogs were polite and friendly. Our dog had the best time ever! We spent the entire last day of our vacation at Bear Creek. We will go back again next time we visit Colorado Springs! -Bring a towel because your pup will get muddy feet from wading in the creek.

  5. No leash dog park with acres of space to roam. My fur babies always have fun interacting with other dogs here. Smaller fenced areas for smaller dogs available. There is literally a creek where they can get in the water too.

The people that come regularly with their dogs are typically so welcoming and very patient (with my admittedly goofy puppy). The park itself is nice, with a new tunnel for the pups being added recently. There’s even a smaller little dog section, though people tend to bring them into to big dog park so be aware! Overall, while it may be a dirt lot, it’s a large dirt lot with things being actively added and maintained from what I can see.

We were visiting Colorado Springs in October 2022. We took our two Goldadors to Eastridge Dog Park a few times. The park itself is large and is pretty nice. For the first two visits there were no issues and the large number of dogs present seemed to get along fairly well and the people were friendly. Our third visit, however, didn’t go so well. A lady there had a ball aggressive dog, that appeared to be a brindle pit mix. She brought the ball so that created part of the issue. In the time we were there, we saw him attack several dogs that got near him and his ball, including both of our Goldadors, a large Rottweiler, and a smaller terrier dog. After the 4th incident-(which was more aggressive) on one of our Goldadors we told the lady she needed to take him out of the dog park. She replied “can’t you just keep your dogs away from my dog.” We replied “No, it’s a dog park. You can’t bring a dog that is possessive of a toy to a dog park and expect other dogs to leave your dog alone.” We warned her that one day, if she doesn’t correct that behavior, her dog will go after the wrong dog and it will end badly. After she left, another patron came up to us and thanked us, and said his dog was also attacked by that dog when they came into the park. We started talking about the situation, and how that dog’s behavior is not acceptable in a dog park, but that it is correctable if she gets the right training and then the dog could properly socialize. That is when a random lady butted in and told us we were being unreasonable. We tried to tell her that was the 4th time that dog attacked ours and the dog needed to leave. She started cussing and said “I come to this park all the time and dog fights happen here all the time.” When we said “Ma’am, that kind of language is unnecessary” she flipped us off and proceeded to cuss more and said what we were doing could get us punched so we took her photo, which is attached to this review.

We Enjoyed This Dog Park. We’d Take The Pups Here Again. We Appreciated The Attached Park & Baseball Court For Off Leash Training Outside The Fenced Area. A Great Place To Bring Your Well Behaved Dogs To Interact With Other Dog Buddies.

This is a nice dog park. Only downfall is owners not looking after their pet. This has happened a few times. My dog (that was by my side) almost got bitten by a dog that approached us growling and barking. I yelled go away, but the dog kept lunging at us. I finally flung my dogs leash several times and the dog moved away. The owner was talking to other pet owners and didn’t even see or hear what went on. We ended up leaving after. Because it’s a nice park and this does not happen all the time, we will continue to go back. I suggest just keep an eye on your dog at all times because there may be a mean one there.

This is our favorite dog park not only is there a separate area for smaller dogs which we have and one of ours is not real socialized so people there have been so friendly and so kind and letting our dog kind of lose his mind and they’ve gently introduced their dog up to the fence and let him sniff and calm down a little bit. PLUS this park is fully wheelchair accessible which there aren’t too many in the springs which are!

Great community park! Nice place to meet and greet humans and hounds alike! This park is set just off the busy highway in a quiet neighborhood park for children, joggers, bikes, and dogs alike! There is something here for everyone, including a nice big space for your best friends to run and socialize. There are benches, chairs, trash cans, trees that provide good shade, a place to store your leash, and equipment for your dog to train or have fun with! Rampart Park is a great place to take a break from the beaten path, relax, and socialize!

Fantastic park for dogs and owners, cool community. Peaceful. Awesome views of mountains in the background. We stopped here on our way down south on a road trip. Highly recommended for your furry friend…

Such a fun little park for my pups! They absolutely love it here. For the most part people clean after their dogs. Only area I see dirty is under the trees near the back of the park.

The dog park itself is fine but there are a few people who bring their aggressive dogs there. My dog has two scars, one on his nose and one right above his eye from being attacked. It’s the owners who have ruined this place for the friendly dogs. There should be a law against people bringing their aggressive dogs to a public park.

First timer and was really happy, my dog had a great time. Only wish people cleaned up after their dogs better. Too much poop on the ground. Other than that it was great .
