These guys did honest work and were very friendly.
I don’t usually go to an auto shop because I like to do it myself. However, I was crunched for time and I brought it to this shop. They were efficient, friendly, and fast. I needed an oil change and a check engine light figured out. They did both and replaced a fuse for my horn. They also found a leak in my radiator that I didn’t know about. Yes I’m having them replace that soon. I went to them for a couple years and thought they were good honest people, tell they kept charging me for unnecessary things. I took my car to another mechanic because I suspected I didn’t need those parts changed and found out I didn’t need them at all, the one thing the mechanic said that I actually needed was my back break shoes but that it could have waited a year. They are money hungry don’t care if your a single mom just barely making it , they love that you are their perfect victim! Great Local Shop! Brought in my truck for full synthetic oil change. Delighted I scheduled it and was able to wait while it was completed. Friendly knowledgeable staff. I will be back for other services.By Steve Marsh (6 months ago)I was referred to Meridian Automotive from another mechanic shop. The first thing they did was a thorough inspection and evaluation for a reasonable price. Unlike the Dealership, they gave me a precise diagnosis of the problem, and were prepared to do repairs on the actual problem. The dealership didn’t diagnose the problem, and just recommended a new engine. Unfortunately the diagnosed problem required a complete engine rebuild.
Hanna, my service advisor was very helpful and explained the whole process up front. I was given a price up front, and a time frame for repairs. Throughout the repair, Hanna kept me updated on the progress, and also advised me of any additional repairs or costs involved. They even took photos, and showed me old and new parts going in. There was GREAT COMMUNICATION and excellent customer service throughout the whole process. My mechanic Gary did an excellent job, and he had all the tools and facilities at his disposal to do the entire engine rebuild in shop. All the tooling and block and head resurfacing and machining was done in house, not sent out to a third party. I was very impressed with the facilities and capabilities of Meridian Automotive.
Overall I was VERY IMPRESSED with the skills of the ASE Certified Mechanics, and the professional interaction with the font office staff. It is extremely difficult to find an honest, fair, and trustworthy mechanic these days. I have found that at Meridian Automotive. I will definitely be back for all of my Mechanic needs! I trust them to work on any of my vehicles! Thank you !

During repairs they tried multiple times to charge my battery and it wouldn’t charge so they called me up and suggested I take it in because it appeared to still be under warranty. Saved me over $200 by doing so. My uncle recommended Garry’s when I moved here 6 months ago from Portland and needed a good, honest and reasonably priced mechanic. I went for an oil change a couple days ago and I’m super happy with everything! Great friendly people and more then just your typical oil change. I walked out of there with coupons for my next visit and a free car wash! They explained to me about a couple issues that needed to be addressed and gave me a quote that was not horrible..I’m going to schedule my next appointment in a week or two so I can have piece of mind on and off the road. It was my first visit for auto repairs. The front desk woman was welcoming and knowledgeable concerning my auto needs. The repairs were timely and the invoice thorough and easy to understand. The shuttle service was timely both pick up and later brought me back. I was impressed how smoothly the day went. No delays, no surprise regarding repairs, no exaggeration.
