  1. Nice areas for shade for people, chairs, benches and tables for people to relax at. Water bowls in the park for dogs along with several water fountains for water refills. Bathrooms for men & women. Ample amounts of parking. Beautiful surrounding views of the golf course close by. By far one of our top favorite parks. Wear close toed shoes if you don’t like dusty feet. 😊👌😉

  2. Neighborhood gem that other dog owners should definitely check out. Looking over driving range near Golden Hill Park, this large dog park does not feel restrictive due to limited fencing, plenty of trees and a spacious view of downtown. Logs and tires are laid out in one area for agility challenges. Long length allows dog groups to form and space out. In mid morning on a Friday, there were many medium to large dogs for my Aussie to play with. Connects to trails. More shade and fencing than Morley field dog park.

  3. Great off leash dog park. My dog loves this place, and we often walk the trails surrounding this park. Which really gets her the mental stimulation she needs. Depending on the day or time of day it gets a bit crowded. But for the most part lots of the dog owners here are responsible for their pets. Minus a few oblivious ones who forget to watch after their pup and forget to pick up poop, bring some old shoes for when you step in it, not if, but when.

  4. Love it here!! Always enjoy seeing all the wonderful dogs playing.

Update: I’ve been coming here for years and I love it. A little bummed that the beautiful grass they put in didn’t last long, but whatever. The park is starting to look even better each week. We came to the park one day and saw that they were making the bathroom look amazing bu painting little murals all around. It was nice to see some of these kids painting some of the animals, which looked amazing! So many people were happy to see this! I for one as I stopped to take a picture. BUT, I have to say I was a little disappointed when I came back to the park a couple days later and saw that the murals had been painted over making the bathrooms looked bland as before. I talked to someone else whom frequents there ans it seems that they need a permit to paint the bathrooms as it would be considered “Graffiti!”

I would hope the right people will allow this to be painted again as its cheery and fun and makes the park more lively than it already is with our wonderful pups! I’ll think good positive thoughts that this gets done sooner rather than later as this park is wonderful and we’ve met many wonderful friends here.

  5. We went after some bad santa Anna winds, so lots of trees down. We had a great experience. They have walking trails, crate full of balls, picnic tables, restrooms. Great running area. The park is not fully fenced so if your dog is a escapee this may not be the place for you. We will be back.

We love Fiesta Island dog park! Such a beautiful place to walk with your dog off leash. We like to walk along the edge where my dog can get in the water. We prefer this to place other dog parks because the focus isn’t primarily on playing with other dogs but rather just taking an off leash walk and saying hi to friends along the way.

A large open space to take your dogs. Walk along the beach or stay back on the open trails. We like to bring a couple of chairs and look at the ocean views. Not a lot of great beach sand, great spot exercise your pooch. We have been here several times and it’s never busy.

Huge fenced spot for dogs to run and play. There are lots of cliffs though so watch your footing. Beach is narrow, but there’s lots of room away from the beach to play. The beach is made up of rough sand and the rest of the area is dirt, so I would recommend sneakers. Also, the beach isn’t separated by dog size. But everyone was respectful and there’s lots of room to spread out.

We love Fiesta Island Dog Park! It’s so spacious and my dog loves the water. I love that you can walk around the whole park and be by the water for the majority of the time. During the spring it is nice and green, but now that it’s summer it’s brown and crunchy. My dog still loves it!

AMAZING PARK! So much space, and our dogs LOVED IT! They were tired for a LONG time after spending 1-2 hours playing here, swimming and running all over! So glad we brought them and would love to return! 10/10 park!

Great, wide open, fenced in dog park that me and my buddy Rider have been enjoying together for the past 5 months! This may not be the spot to come if you care about keeping your shoes clean but if you want your paw pal to feel like the elite animal he/she is then come here! Let them get the dirt between their toes and smell the open air and trees, while you chat it up with some fellow pet owners. Never seen any hostility or issues. Be understanding that each pet has different levels of obedience so you may get an overly excited dog jumping on you lol. 5/5 for me!

Came for the first time with my 2 labs and will keep coming. One of the few places left in SD with a large open space for dogs to play off leash. Other dog owners seemed fine. Only recommendation is make sure you bring your own “poop bags”. All the bins were out so just a heads up!

Nice wide open off leash area for bigger dogs. A few tables to sit at and a lot of shade spread out thru the area by trees. Water fountain and poop backs provides at well at trash cans in different area of the park.

Large fenced-in park, lots of space for pups to run around freely. Dog owners are generally good at watching their dogs. However, there is very little grass or trees. Most of it is dirt. Last time we went in November 2021, the water fountain had no water due to pipe issues.

This is a favorite for my pup and I! The dog park itself is fenced in and very large, large enough to have some space for dogs to run and separate if your dog doesn’t do crowded spaces or just needs a little walk to reset. There is no separate fencing for large/small dogs but the fenced in area is large enough that smaller and larger dogs can both play in the park without even interacting if desired. There are two entrances which is soooooo helpful since the main one is often where the action is, the side entrance is probably preferable for dogs needing a slower introduction. The park is always clean (as clean as dog parks get) and there’s plenty of “terrain” for the dogs to run and play on. There’s a water fountain with a little dog bowl attached to it near the main gate…HUGE lifesaver! Our favorite part about this park is how close it is to balboa bridge and all of the other attractions that are right across the bridge, plus it’s near multiple trail entry points. Parking is usually free along the street if you don’t go at peak times, (and I don’t recommend going when they’re doing street cleaning…follow what the signs say…they WILL give you a ticket!) Overall 10/10 from my pup and I
