  1. I love to walk through here from time to time. The trails are paved though there are some that are not. The park is clean and has various outdoor activities. The playground is large and shaded. Just beware of the bees, bug spray is a must in the summer. The dog park is large and it even features an archery range that a lot of people visit. My favorite is the lake that you can find off the orange path. Definitely a 4/5 in my book. Mainly a 4 out of 5 because it’s easy to get lost on the trails. So be careful and pay attention.

  2. My husband and I love this park so many options that they have for outdoor activities. We love that they have a 1.5 mile trail that is paved so we can take out son in the stroller. They have several volleyball pits, ball courts, sports fields, q small dog park, and a play ground for little ones in the middle. We go here alot because there are so many pokemon spots for us to walk and play for hours.

  3. Great place to play some sports with the family or just go outdoors and have a quiet peaceful stroll through the woods. A fun park with lots of activities.

  4. This is Chesterfield’s all encompassing park, offering a wide variety of activities that cannot be found elsewhere in the county. Most of the amenities in the park are well maintained, though the park as a whole is a little bit outdated. The Nature Center is worth checking out if you’re lucky enough to be there when it’s open, and the trails are well marked, suitable, and more prevalent than most systems in the county. Unfortunately, the pond on the far side of the park suffers from overfertilization and lacks very many good viewpoints along the adjacent trail.

A lovely city park with an outstanding topography excellent for walking and exploring. Although a little rough around the edges, Bryan Park still has a beautiful pastorial charm with touches of a past elegance not often seen in current projects dependent upon the public purse. The park is easily accessible by car, bike, or on foot, and although very close to busy interstate highways, the park provides the guest a remarkable quietness in the middle of a loud, modern city. Highly Recommended.

What a lovely park! Bryan Park is a Richmond classic, and while a little rough around the edges (i.e. the northwest corner) this gives it a charm unique to Richmond city. The trees here are probably the most important feature and are absolutely stunning. Worth a visit for sure.

Nice event. Vendors are great. Items are well priced. The park needs maintenance . Not areas for people to sit. If you are in the area it is a must. It is a year round event. Yes you can bring your dog with you to shop.

Very beautiful Park, lots of old trees and a frisbee golf. Tried it the first time and it was really good! Very little trash and glass splitter around. Great place to be!

Very large public park with lakes, walking trails, playground, quality soccer fields, frisbee golf course, weekly farmers market on Saturdays -RVA Big Market, and nature trails. Needs more investment from the city of Richmond – some parts are a little rough.

Great park with so much to offer. Dog park is a great spot to bring your pup and get to know some people. Fun playground for the kids. When the weather is right the splash pad is a good place to cool off. Big pavilion with restrooms.

This is by far the best dog park in the whole entire Richmond & Petersburg area. All the other dog parks gotta fight for 2nd place. Not as big as some of the dog parks, but very active and most fun for the dogs. You’ll love this one, trust me.

I was visiting a family member in the area and we took her dog to the park. I found the park to be clean and impeccably maintained. The dog park is well designed and I really liked the astroturf rather than the grass/mud/gravel found at other parks. There were m lots of children happily enjoying the playground area. I was pleasantly surprised to also find a labyrinth in the park, adding another dimension to it’s offerings. Well done!

Great park for families and pet owners. Unfortunately – like most dog parks – this one suffers as some owners do not appropriately supervise or watch their dogs, so messes get left behind and inappropriate behavior is not corrected. Nonetheless…a great way to let a high energy dog safely hit “high speed” and burn off some energy!

Great park for young kids and well maintained fields for sports. My daughter loves cheering at Kanawha!
