I love to walk through here from time to time. The trails are paved though there are some that are not. The park is clean and has various outdoor activities. The playground is large and shaded. Just beware of the bees, bug spray is a must in the summer. The dog park is large and it even features an archery range that a lot of people visit. My favorite is the lake that you can find off the orange path. Definitely a 4/5 in my book. Mainly a 4 out of 5 because it’s easy to get lost on the trails. So be careful and pay attention.
My husband and I love this park so many options that they have for outdoor activities. We love that they have a 1.5 mile trail that is paved so we can take out son in the stroller. They have several volleyball pits, ball courts, sports fields, q small dog park, and a play ground for little ones in the middle. We go here alot because there are so many pokemon spots for us to walk and play for hours.
Great place to play some sports with the family or just go outdoors and have a quiet peaceful stroll through the woods. A fun park with lots of activities.
This is Chesterfield’s all encompassing park, offering a wide variety of activities that cannot be found elsewhere in the county. Most of the amenities in the park are well maintained, though the park as a whole is a little bit outdated. The Nature Center is worth checking out if you’re lucky enough to be there when it’s open, and the trails are well marked, suitable, and more prevalent than most systems in the county. Unfortunately, the pond on the far side of the park suffers from overfertilization and lacks very many good viewpoints along the adjacent trail.
