- Reviews:Well once upon a time this was probably a really nice park; however, it is in need of repair now. The wooden pirate ship has holes that you could loose a toddler in. There are boards missing in on some railing and stairs too. The other side of the park is missing one saucer swing. The other swings are decent. The giant climbing pyramid ropes are showing their age. You can’t read any of the signs. The climbing wall is gone. My son and I were very disappointed. I am going to submit this on Pensacola 311 to hopefully get it on the list of parks to get repaired before someone gets hurt.By Luella Hansen (7 months ago)The ship playhouse that you see in the pictures is boarded up and broken. Only one of the 2 round swings is actually still up and working. The rope climber was absolutely terrible and not sturdy at all. We feel very dissatisfied and lied to from the pictures.By BF (7 months ago)There is a sidewalk around the perimeter of the park which is good for walking laps. They have swings for all ages, but limited playground equipment. Many small trees provide limited shaded areas. The big wooden boat has stairs and is 3 stories high; it’s cooler under the 2 above floors, and the top floor is directly in the sun. There is usually evidence of high schoolers who hang out on the boat after hours. There’s a picnic area that it covered.By Adrian Arcade (a year ago)Nice small playground that’s next to the library. Playground area could definitely use some updating, but our 5 year old had a wonderful time. We also enjoyed the winding paved walking path with our dogs. The wooden ship looked very cool, but unfortunately is under construction.By Nicole Esquino (2 months ago)The park is always very clean and very safe feeling. The kids have a great time we go although there’s really not a whole lot to do there as far as equipment but they have a great place to walk around the park where you can see everything it’s dog friendly and have benches throughout the walking area so you can sit down if needed and plus there’s lights for after it gets dark which is great cuz most parts don’t have that And there’s lots of open grass area or kids can go run and play. And the only drawback is there’s not very much equipment. They do have a big pirate ship which is under construction right now or if it was about a week ago, swings and a large rope climbing area. Each of the sections that have playground equipment has wood chips instead of sand.By Angela (2 months ago)

- Reviews:Lexington Terrace is a very large and beautiful park. Fantastic trees and open spaces. Play areas, picnic tables with grills. There are bathrooms but I didn’t check them to see if they were clean. There was litter along the parking areas and the driveway that runs through the park though. Otherwise this park is well maintained.By Chad Fitzgerald (7 months ago)A cool place for the kids and dogs. All the equipment doesn’t work as it should. Due to people tearing it up. But still fun for the kids.By Tiffany Walker (Tipstarr526) (a year ago)Wonderful Space for picnics. I had passed by dozens of times and finally decided to stop and view the Memorial. Was beautiful day and the park was peaceful.
Beautiful history .. I actually got the chills standing there looking at the monuments of the fallen . What incredible people . Not to mention their families whom lost more than we could ever. Imagine . I added S H U G A R S . MY Personal BEST FRIEND . SHE TO ENJOYED THE OUTING AND SMELLED EVERY FLOWER ALONG THEE WAY
It was an honor to walk through this Veteran Memorial park. My wife and I are Veterans, very beautifully designed and respectful. They are even constructing a memorial for Military working dogs and their contribution. I’ve visited the Vietnam War Wall in DC several times, the copy here was sobering. We must never forget the sacrifices we as Americans gave to protect our freedom and democracy.
Very clean and peaceful place… Good place to go and count your blessings and be great full to be an American.
Nice park with the veteran’s memorial for all the wars since WW1. Parents in the area letting their kids climb on the memorials like it was play equipment. I “educated” them about the purpose of showing respect. Bathrooms available.
