- Reviews:This was our first time at the PetSafe dog park in the PetSafe Village campus. It is 100% fenced in, immaculately maintained and free to the public. Our dog absolutely loved it. The Knox county storm water pond inspector just happened to be there when we visited and he kept saying it was the nicest dog park he’d ever seen and he was definitely bringing his dog there. My dogs absolutely loved every moment. The girls played with others dogs but I had to watch Penny. She can be a little bullish to other dogs that are larger than her but she tolerates small dogs and loves adults. None of my dogs have been around children enough. So far they have been kind although they bark to say high as dogs do. Anyway, this park has a split level so you can separate yourselves from the other packs. The lower level has a pond with a fountain and a trail around the pond. The girls got wet and ran themselves out for a hard night sleep, hopefully. They are children. We were pleasantly surprised that it had so much to offer. There was a gated area for my dog to swim. A separate gated area for the dogs to play at. The park was clean and well maintained. - Reviews:Fun park for kiddos and pet lovers alike. The park overall is well maintained and we saw two maintenance crew taking trash out and cleaning up while we were there. There is a small walking trail that is paved and is stroller friendly. The dog park side also has a dirt walking trail and open space for dogs to run. One other feature is a disc golf course too. The big dog side seems a bit muddy at the entrance at times but I always take my pup to the small dog side. Every time I have been there has been many other small dogs for her to play with. There is the spot for 30 lb and under and 30 lb and over so you don’t have to worry about big dogs running over the little dogs. Is also a big picnic area leading into the dog park as well as a park for kids. It’s a very busy area but easy to get to and very nice and clean with dog waste bags whenever you need it as well as water for your dogs. There is an enclosed Dog park near the parking lot. There is a Picnic area for reservation with Knox County Parks. Soccer field, walking path and kids playground. There is also an area where you can go fishing by the River.
I love this park! It’s kept up better than any of the other parks around and has a nice walking trail with multiple path options. There is also a barbque area and a covered pavilion.
This is a beautiful park with picnic pavilions, playground,walking trails and places to take in a morning of fishing. They also have a launching ramp for kayaking, paddle boards and canoes.
Absolutely beautiful place to kayak and fish. There’s a play area nearby and trails. Perfect for a family cookout or to jog around the path. We loved it, and plan on going back soon.
Thought it was a very nice park. Looked to be well kept clean a nice park to do alittle fishing. Dog friendly (leashed) large soccer field (grassy area) with covered picnic tables. Fishing platforms, but strong current in the river there. I’ll go there again.
