  1. I love going to this park and enjoying the sunsets and being able to see downtown so greatly and just taking some pix. It’s usually not extremely busy and it’s surprisingly not trashed either. They don’t have any kind of playground for the little ones, but they’ve got a decent skate park, a couple of tennis courts and if I remember correctly they also have a basketball court. I just can’t wait for it to warm up again so I can stay out there for a longer time period

  2. Love this place, I am a huge history fan and we have visited many times but every time I learn something new or see something I didn’t see before, we tried the tower for the first time absolutely beautiful view of the Kansas city skyline. The park and surrounding area is so pretty just wished it hadn’t been so cold and wind so we could have stayed and enjoyed the park a little more. Definitely educational and emotional, if you love history this is a must.

  3. We visited the park today at the WWI Museum (museum is on a separate review…it’s awesome!).

The park is pretty nice, and spacious. Plenty of grass and trees too have a family gathering, picnic, jog or just unwind. There’s a couple of cool statues and a great view of the city. The grounds were fairly clean except a few areas of broken glass by the parking lot. Overall pretty nice though.

  4. This is a beautiful park with a small water feature.

This well maintained strip of land nestled between Broadway Boulevard and Southwest Trafficway North of 31st Street is a great place to escape and forget you are in the bustling city.

The water feature attracts local wildlife and the occasional fisherman. They seem to enjoy themselves even though I’ve never seen anyone pull a fish from the water.

This is a great place to take a leisurely walk, visit the skate park, or look out over the city by the Scout memorial statue. The view of Barney Allis Plaza and the adjoining area of Downtown Kansas City are absolutely breathtaking.

  5. Lovely place for a stroll early in the morning. Rolling hills with ponds and lots of fall color. Monuments, museums and statuary scattered throughout the park as well as tennis courts and a large dog park. There is traffic through the park but it’s fairly manageable to cross streets when you have to.

Excellent place for you and your dogs. The customer service is what you would want it to be and expect it to be they not only take care of you but they take care of your pets and they keep an eye on your pets to make sure they are safe even on busy days they do not steer away from their jobs. The facilities are in top-notch shape and kept in top-notch shape strongly recommend anyone to make the trip there it was well worth the 6 Hour Dr.

Can’t love this place enough! I’ve been away from the KC area for over 3 years and couldn’t wait to come here again. Went here for memorial weekend and it’s busy as I remembered! ✅ Lots of fun things to do ✅ Good food and drinks. Try their FRIES 🍟 ✅ Wonderful and attentive staff ✅ This place is for DOGS. What more reason do I need to give this place a 5 star?! ⚠️ A little pricey if you plan to go here multiple times without getting a membership ⚠️ Come here with your PACK! Better to pay the $10/15 for first dog + $5 additional dog than paying separately. 🔥 Get ready to have a good time!

Amazing place. We registered ahead of time. They have good music and they have employees walking around playing with the dogs. Drinks were good – food was typical bar food but had a full dog menu. It was so cute the dogs run everywhere, they definitely own the place!

My boys absolutely love this place. One of our dogs is very social and active which is great for a place full of other dogs to chase and be chased by. I love watching him play and he now gets very excited anytime we look like we’re leaving. He sometimes seems like he’s begging to go back. Our other dog took some getting used to but it had brought him out of his shell quite a bit and now interacts with other dogs way more. There are so many type and personalities that your dog is certain to find a friend or many. Drink and beer selection is great and the food was really good too. The attendants on staff are so excellent at breaking up any altercation and are so quick at correcting.

I was visiting from Boston and was brought here by a friend. Honestly, one of the coolest places I had been to. For starters, the dog park itself is amazing. It makes full use of the overpass it’s built under for plenty of shade. Lots of areas for the dogs to run around and play. For the humans, the indoor and outdoor bar along with incredible food was something I hadn’t really come across before. Add they had a stage and they had live music all while catching up with a brew and letting the doggos play? Pretty incredible.– Bar K needs to open a daycare next!

Fully fenced in, poop bags provided, some play / training equipment in the center, water fountain for both humans and dogs, a trail for humans with some benches to sit on. My two dogs (pictured below) really enjoy every time we come here. Typically the people and dogs here are very friendly.

This is a great park for the downtown dogs, with a nice paved path for humans in both small and large dog areas. The park stays pretty clean and well-stocked with poop bags. My only complaint is a there are people who disregard the posted rules, smoking in the park, bringing food and treats in with them, and letting their small children play all over the ramps and tubes meant for dog training. Be sure you have good recall and training with your dog, as their are a handful of dog owners I see frequently that have aggressive dogs, try to give your dog treats, and one lady that likes to start fights and yell across the dog park for seemingly no real reason. Park is great, but we need to be better owners.

Great dog park located in North Kansas City, Missouri. The park has two sides. One for big dogs and one for a little dogs.

Very popular spot, very large, lots of nearby trails and beautiful views of the fields and rivers. I love it!

I love this dog park because it has a paved walking trail inside the park. The parks and recs also holds fun activities for dogs such as a Halloween costume party and Easter egg hunt. Owners of dogs here are respectful and manage their dogs well.
