  1. This is a beautiful dog park. Walking trails around the outside and an off leash walking trail in the middle of the park. There is a suspension bridge, paved and unpaved walkways and two separate areas for large and small dogs. Both sides have a circular walkway inside of the fenced area to get in some steps while you are there. There are water fountains for dogs and people, an area for restrooms with vending machines and a dog washing station for $12. This is a very nice park with very nice dogs and people.

  2. Highest-ranking dog park I’ve visited.
Large & small dog separate areas!
Fenced in woods section significantly helps limit crowding. Pups must be leashed unless located in gated fields!
Very Impressed by the other respectful visitors & dogs! Top quality maintenance of the grounds! 7am-10pm are park hours.
Multitude of hiking trails featuring suspension & covered bridges.
lookout points leading to the Grand River!
The terrain varies throughout the park, I’d dress accordingly to the weather!
    We definitely will be back!

  3. Expansive fenced-in, off leash area. Our dog loves running in the woods and tall grasses. She gives Grand Ravines 5+ paws. ? ? ?

  4. Loved it. Nice spacious area. Well kept and clean. Lots of walking trails. Nearby restrooms. Suspension bridge great for pictures. 2 separate areas for little dogs under 25 pounds and big dogs.

  5. It’s not just a dog park (although it is great if you like dog watching)!!
There are miles of trails, ranging from mostly flat to very steep. Though most trails are naturally surfaced (hard packed dirt or grass) the paved walk is long enough that you could get a good walk/bike in without ever leaving it.
The lower trails do get a bit muddy in the spring, and when the Grand River is out of its banks the whole lower section by the river is pretty much flooded. If you’re planning on hiking the dirt trails in the spring after a rain, wear boots.

What a fun place for my dog to play! Good chance for a run , and social interaction with other doggies. It’s very clean and everyone has been courteous and responsible. Lots of space, separate pens for large and small dogs, and also a big open space outside of the pens for exercise. Thank you Grand Rapids.

This park is so much fun. Very clean, lots of dogs and plenty of space to run. The city made two separate areas, one for big dogs and the other for little dogs. I highly recommend bringing your dog here!

All of my experiences at this park have been positive. The owners are kind & attentive to any possible too rough play. The dogs are friendly and my dog consistently gets all the exercise & play that he needs. The concern that I continue to have is that many of the dog owners do not clean up after their dogs. The overall reason that I have heard is that no doggie bags are provided, but most of the owners do not even pursue trying to clean up. I am so grateful to have these parks available. To bring my own bags is a non issue, I would need to provide these if I was walking my dog. I think as dog owners, we should always be prepared, I certainly do not expect that every place I take my dog to will have the toiletries for my dogs needs. Do we want a dog park for our dogs to run & play in? Or a large toilet that no one will feel safe in?

Can be a good place to bring your pups. Down sides include people who live within walking distance bringing their dogs and leaving them for hours unsupervised. Have been attacked by uncontrolled dogs and seen many other attacks.

It was muddy but with this winter of rain and snow what is to be expected just bring a towel which I learned after my first time. It was a great group of people and the dogs were well behaved. My boys had a blast with there friends and it shows when we go how much fun they have.

New and improved dog park! However, trash can is not accessible inside the fence and there is no water during the cold season.

I love this dog park!!! But almost every time I take my boy there people show up with unfixed males that just want to hump my neutered Male that just wants too play. I hate that I have to make him go home because of this.

Not a park for kids. Homeless people stay under the gazebo. There’s trash everywhere. I thought it would be so much better since the ratings were so high. There were sketchy people without kids just sitting near the playground.

Dog park is nice… Small medium size but still plenty of running room for larger dogs!

I loved that there was lots of different things to do at this park. I’m a kid at heart even though I’m a grown adult and I love finding parks that have all these different features.
