- Reviews:I am a dog walker and I love bringing my clients dogs here for an hour. They get to meet new fur friends. They get to run around and play. They always have so much fun.By Erin Broderick (3 years ago)As a nearby resident of Baltimore and an avid lover of parks, I couldn’t help but share my love for Latrobe Park, a true gem nestled in the heart of the Locust Point neighborhood. This beautiful park offers an array of recreational activities and community events that cater to visitors of all ages, making it the perfect destination for families and friends to gather and enjoy the outdoors. One of the standout features of Latrobe Park is its multiple playgrounds, designed with children’s safety and enjoyment in mind. The variety of play structures ensures that kids of all ages and abilities can have fun, while parents can relax and watch their little ones explore and make new friends. The park’s well-maintained tennis and basketball courts provide excellent opportunities for friendly competition and exercise, attracting both casual players and serious athletes. For those who prefer a more laid-back experience, the park offers an extensive network of walking trails that weave through the lush greenery. The serene atmosphere and ample seating areas make Latrobe Park an ideal location for picnics, reading, or simply basking in the sun. The football field, with its artificial turf and modern amenities, is another fantastic feature that contributes to Latrobe Park’s appeal. This versatile space hosts local sports teams and is also perfect for pick-up games or tossing a Frisbee around with friends. But Latrobe Park is more than just a collection of recreational facilities; it is a vibrant community hub that brings people together through various events throughout the year. From what I have seen, these events range from outdoor movie nights and live music performances to yoga classes and art workshops. The involvement of local vendors adds a unique touch, providing visitors with a taste of Baltimore’s diverse food and artisan scene. The dedicated team of volunteers and park staff work tirelessly to maintain the park’s cleanliness and keep it safe for all visitors. Their efforts have transformed Latrobe Park into a welcoming space where people from all walks of life can come together and enjoy the best that Baltimore has to offer. In conclusion, Latrobe Park is a true asset to the Locust Point neighborhood and the city of Baltimore as a whole. Its combination of recreational facilities, community events, and beautiful scenery make it a must-visit destination for residents and tourists alike. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend taking the time to explore this wonderful park and experiencing its many charms for yourself.By Chris Petrik (3 weeks ago)A great place for your family to enjoy a beautiful day. Basketball courts, tennis, pickle ball and a soccer field!! A playground and dog park.By Bridgette Bullock (a month ago)An incredible park. Turf football/soccer field that is open to the public. Two outdoor basketball courts, three outdoor tennis courts, playground, sand volleyball court, and more. Also adjacent to a softball and baseball field (feels like one connected park because there is no street or divider in between the two, even though the baseball/softball field are technically part of school grounds and not park grounds). There is also a nice dog park and the main park area, save for the athletic fields/courts, is very dog-friendly. There is a small picnic area, as well.By Marcus Elder (3 weeks ago)There for a rugby game. Good atmosphere.By Heather B (a month ago)

- Reviews:My dog and I love this dog park! It’s located in the great neighborhood of canton. We use to live two blocks up the street and we walked there just about everyday. Even after relocating, I still drove my dog Chino to this park. Both the dogs and people are friendly! I would recommend going whenever it’s not raining to avoid your dog getting really dirty. People always donate grocery bags for waste pickup, in case you run out of doggy bags. Lastly they have two sides that separate big dogs from small, which is greatly appreciated! I also made a video of a casual walk to the park with my dog Chino. We stayed to play for a while since it was a warm and sunny day. I also made a video of our day at the Canton Dog Park. If you would like to see what the park is like, watch my experience and review video on YouTube! Well maintained, water spouts, spacious and well shaded in the Summer/ Fall.By Kayla H (a month ago)The entry and about 1/3rd of the park was flooded after recent rain. In general, I like it better than Canton dog park. It’s cleaner and there’s usually more dogs to socialize with. That being said, it can get *too* crowded during popular times like Friday evenings and the weekends. Sometimes people let their kids in to play with the dogs and other times people bring treats even though you’re not supposed to. Most of the time it is fine but not every dog reacts well to kids/treats so there have been some close calls.
A wonderfully sized dog park in a safe and convenient to access area. There are both small and large dog sections with pools/baths and dog bowls with nearby taps for water. There are several benches to sit and rest too. Owners are usually nice and respectful. Our dog always has a blast here!
Wonderful fun place to come and take A nice Quiet walk You are always finding new animals & plants to look at and plenty of places t explore
My dog loves this dog park. It has a big dog and small dog section. He’s been in both sides. All the dogs are typically friendly here.
This dog park is a blessing in this city! My pup loves being able to run around and play with other dogs. 99% of dog owners pick up after their dogs & are friendly.
-1 star because:
The water fountains break often, so it’s smart to bring some water for your pup just in case.
Beware of careless dog owners who bring treats & dog toys into the park.
Most dogs are socialized but I have ran into an aggressive dog who put its mouth around my dogs head – the owner was holding it by the color right near the entrance & I didn’t realize that was because the dog was potentially a threat to the other pups.
