  1. I love this park! Disc golf, tons of trees and grass and leaves, clean restrooms, a fantastic bark park for the doggos, and real trails to wander down. It’s amazing such a great outdoor site is right in the middle of the city of Augusta.
This is possibly the best time of year to go for a leisurely stroll here. The flowers are beginning to bloom and it looks like they’ve added more vegetation to attract some beautiful herons to the park! There always seems to be plenty of parking, too.

  2. Finally got to see this park. Walked my dog on the trail. It’s not packed, you can walk the trails peacefully while enjoying nature. There’s disc golf, a designated dog park and a small pond with ducks in it (watch out for alligators). Can’t wait til it’s filled with fall colors! It’s still pretty green although some trees already turned yellow.

  3. Excellent little hidden gem to explore! There is a large amount of hiking area, two playgrounds, a tank, several gardens and gazebos. Cute play to play and picnic with the family.

  4. Nice park with a decent disc golf course. It can punish you if you don’t throw accurately and go it it the woods. Good intermediate level course.

  5. Peaceful and serene! We love this park so much. The turtles are beautiful to watch 🥰 but please, please let them be in peace.

Was in town visiting my parents and decided to try this dog park because I assumed it must be nice being at Lady A Park and whatnot. Personally a bit let down with it. My review is for the big dog side because my dog is 80 lbs so that’s the side that we used. The size is much smaller than what we are used to, but is definitely adequate. I didn’t really prefer how much of the dog park was a sand material, we are used to grassed in dog parks or at the least having a harder surface to run around on. A sand material is too similar to when we go to the dog beaches and he can freely dig, something that the rules for the dog park doesn’t allow. The water fountain was a really cool touch, it would be nice if our usual dog parks at home had something similar. Largest concern for me was definitely the fence height. It is ever lower than the chain-link fence for my backyard, which is very concerning. Way too low for a dog park meant to be for large dogs. When we first got there one dog was so excited to get in that he was extremely close to just leaping over the fence. There are many large dogs that can jump fences less than 6 feet high and this one is much shorter than that. Overall it’s an okay dog park with double gated entrance (a must have for a dog park) that had about 10 dogs show up while I was there (so good activity). Owners stayed aware of what their dogs were doing the whole hour I was there, no aggressive dogs, nice people. Only 3 stars from us due to so much sand and the very low height of fencing. Just from glancing over at the small dog park (for dogs under 25 pounds) it looked perfect for small dogs, wouldn’t have had any complaints.

Took my puppy dog of 7 mths here and she was doing good for awhile. She is a Springer Spaniel . A lady had a sheep dog/lab mix. Big! Her dog chased mine into one of those brick columns. She got hurt and I felt terrible for her. I wished Columbia Cty would round off the sharp conners. Or at least put something like a pad over the brick so the dogs won’t get hurt. The dogs go running too fast in the area where their people seat. I should have left early while i had the chance.

This is a really nice dog park at the Evans Town Center Park. They have two different sections where if you have a smaller dog under a certain weight he or she can be in his on gated area. The people are very nice as well.

The park was week taken care of and I loved the fact that they have a side for big dogs and one for small dogs 25 pounds and under. The only problem I had was that my dog was able to go under the gate that lead it of the park. She was able to get under both gates and out into the parking lot. I have a toy Chihuahua and she is very tiny. I would love to take her back but I’m not going to risk her getting out. She’s very fast and I’m disabled and have trouble walking.

Nice location, plenty of benches and large enough for the dogs to run and play.

We were camping at an RV Park about 10 miles away, and I needed to take my dog somewhere for exercise. This place has two leash free fenced areas for large / small dogs. Both sections have agility equipment. There is a collection of tennis balls in a tire at the center of the “large dog” area. It’s very nice and pretty clean. The pictures show the Greenway trails adjacent to the Bark Park.

First time at the Bark Park and my furry companion loved it! Plenty of room to run around and activities for your companion to do. Could use a lil TLC but the dogs don’t care about that stuff.

One of two places to park and get access to the Augusta Greenway. I am impressed on how well taken care of this place is and the access to the water and other nature trails. It is a 13 mile stretch from what I read, and the 2.5 miles I ran from this start point was along payed rode. I even got to see some deer’s. My favorite trail in the area thus far!

Great park with lots of shade, water fountains, and benches. A little dusty in some parts but mostly grassy. A few props for agile pups. Two sections; small and large dogs are separated. Close to parking and trails. Average cleanliness.

Wasn’t busy at all. The puppy had a ball. It did need a hardwood clean up near the entrance but other than that it was great.
