  1. IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE STREET VIEW PICTURES.
I cannot stress that enough really. Those pictures must be at least 2 years old, because there is a whole playground (it’s awesome) and basketball court that are missing, and the parking lot is fully paved, and all of that was here when we moved here 2 years ago.

Now, to the dog park. There are 3 areas available. One for large dogs, one for small dogs, and one in the center that people use for shy dogs or for training. The parks each have a fountain that is in operation MOST of the year, but closed during the freezing months.

The park is located adjacent to a large, undeveloped plot of land that has a small pond the dogs can cool off in, and walking trails cut through it like an ants nest. You can walk around for hours in the woods. Since it just rained, we spent 90 minutes navigating the watery, muddy trails. The dogs loved it. The marked trail will lead you from the backside of the dog parks, where the pond is located, all the way up to the parking lot, the playground, and about 100 yards out from the playground, across a large open field where people often play fetch alone.

We love Wiggly Park for the whole family. We pack a lunch, hit the dog park, walk the trails to the playground where the kids play until its time to eat. We picnic at the pavilion and the kids play until its time to go home.

  2. Great dog park, lots of room the dogs to run and they have 3 separate areas for the dogs. The park was clean and the owners all were responsible and looked after their dogs. Usually for me dog parks are less about the park and the dogs and more about the owners. So this is a huge plus that everyone was on top of it. It was our GSD’s first time at the dog park and he loved being able to run and really have some open space to do so.

  3. Nice park but not the biggest fan of the the “dog park” portion. The parking is nice and has multiple spots. The dog park is not visible from the parking lot which will throw someone off if you’re looking for it. The dog park portion is nice and has a few connecting sections which is nice but it seems like a couple of them are closed for some reason. The only ones open currently are the possible muddy areas. Between the visibility issue and ease, it’s def 3 star worthy but 4 of they can fix it up . The park portion for kids is separate.

  4. Very well kept. Separate areas depending on dog sizes. Owners are always in well control of their dogs. Nice park area and walking trails.

  5. I love this dog park. The people are nice, but there will always be the ones who don’t pick up after their fur baby.

Great place! The area appears to host amenities for runners, hikers, fishers. etc. There is a recycle area before you get to the park. CONs: The road is not asphalt. The area could get muddy. Duke says, “I’m a happy, happy, happy dog.”

Dogs make friends here, they are little people living in a giants world, don’t bring cookies unless you want the wolf pack attack. Go and enjoy, watch your step around the outside ring… landmines worse than Angola.

We are new to the area and a co-worker suggested North Lakes Dog Park. We went on the night of the City Parks and Rec showing a movie and the unveiling of a park statue. The guests there were super nice, all the dogs were very energetic, they do have a water fountain for dogs, lights at night and benches for humans. I thought it was cool to see people sitting on their own blankets. Signs are visible of which park your pup should go to, but some humans didn’t respect it, and they may have had their reason. They do have string lights and light sabot looking lights entering and exiting the park. It is dusty with gravel so wear the right shoes. It’s worth driving 6 miles one way. We’ll be back and look forward to joking the VIPaw group as members.

Such a great dog park! Plenty of room for all sizes and they even provide area for aggressive dogs that need to be alone. The only downfall of this location was there wasn’t enough shade but they are now installing new canopy for every location so no matter what area you’re in you’ll have shade.

Road is open. There’s construction of tennis courts when first turn in. Keep going down gravel road to dog area. New young trees have been planted, but will be a couple years to grow enough for shade. I liked the after dark lighting along the top of the fence. So far, a great run for my dogs.

Nice park with lots of trails and fenced in dog play areas. My four legged family had a blast there. Theres plenty of shade for those hot days as well as water fountains for all.

Other than seeing far too much poison ivy all over the place, this park is rather nice. The pavilion is spacious and clean. The children’s play area is well-kept and new. I do wish it had proper restrooms instead of porta-potties. Very nice with those important exceptions.
