  1. All DOGS & owners were very cool.No need to get TOO EXCITED over the issue ,”will my dog be ok?”All was good but bring a dog towel and your dogs familiat water dish and water for parking lot libations. ALSO,there is a orange construction cone on the lawn for a broken irrigation pipe and if your dog is a waterlover, you will need a beach towel before you let your swampthing re enter your vehicle.🤣😁👍sorry panoramic photos dont open…..

  2. My Grandpup had the time of his life here!! We little to no grass in our backyard came here so that he could run and meet neighbor pups was GREAT!
The location and parking is perfect, this park has two huge, fenced, clean, well lite park areas one for larger dogs and the other for small dogs which is perfect! Your fur babies can play with dogs their size
The park has water sinks so you can wash or wipe off your dog if needed or give them a drink with the provide dish bowls I personally don’t use the bowls I bring his traveling dishes. The park was clean, no nasty smells, or poop in the grass, nice big scented poop bags are also provided. Overall… we now go once a week and he loves it!

  3. I’ve been coming to Riverwalk Dog Park (small) for about 12 years. It used to be well maintained, but for a couple years now has fallen into some disrepair. I’m hoping that the City of Riverside will eventually put a little money to repair this poor park. I still come to the park almost daily.
    Update July 2, 2022
I think the City of Riverside has abandoned general maintenance of this park, and probably other parks too. Most of the grass is dead, probably has not been watered in months.
Trees are in trimmed. 2 of the lights in the small park side don’t work even after requesting they be repaired. Just wonder what our tax dollars go too? Fat cats in the city council?

  4. Best dog park ever! I’ve been coming here often with my dog since 2018 and she loves it! a lot of dogs of different breeds – perfect playground for playful dogs.

This is a great small to medium size dog park. It is completely gated and has 2 sides that’s are separately gated. One side for small to medium sized dogs and the other side for large dogs. Each entrance and exit have 2 doors to ensure no runaways. The 2 doors also allow your dogs to get used to any other dogs inside the park with a steel gate in between before letting them enter the full park. The park is mostly flat with nice grassy areas and small dirt patches. Plenty of space for any dog to get energy out or just meet and play with new friends. There are trees to provide shade for you and your dogs along with concrete tables and benches for you to sit down. There are water fountains for humans to drink from but also a water spout to fill up any water bowls or small plastic pools. The park does have small trashcans and plastic bags for any poo your dogs may lay. Overall it is a nice dog park, with friendly people and friendly dogs.

One of the best dog parks I’ve been in the area. My dog loved it. There’s a small dog side and a big dog side which I like cause I don’t have to worry about my dog running over any little dogs. It’s well kept. Water bowls everywhere. Two dog pools and plenty of room for them to run. Perfect to take pictures by the water tower. There are multiple benches with shade to have a picnic or dog party.

This was my first time ever coming here (and my dogs first time at a dog park) and I really liked it. There was a huge amount of space in both the big dog area and the small dog area, and each area had water bowls and water jugs set out. There was a lot of shade and a good amount of tables. The place was well gated and there were no holes or places the dogs could get out. The kiddie pools in the big dog area were pretty cool, and there was a hose there you could use to fill it up. The place was also very clean. 10/10.

First time coming here!! 10/10 Very well gated and clean dog park. Massive space for both small and large!!! No designated parking, just park by the road. Also has large kiddie pools for dogs and many many tables under the shade. Everyone seems to be responsible and pick up after their dogs too. Close by the street so be careful.

This dog park is nice.there are two dog parks one for small dogs and the other for big dogs.I like this dog park because each park is the same size there huge, while most other dog parks only the big dog park has the bigger park and the smaller dog park has the smaller one.each park has a few entrances and exits.it was pretty clean not a lot of dog waste everywhere like other dog parks.there are bench’s with trash cans and poop bag stations throughout the dog parks and a drinking fountain for the dogs.I highly recommend this dog park.

This park has become my go-to park. It can get crowded nights and weekends, but early mornings are pretty empty. I appreciate the different sections of the park and how long they are. Owners are generally respectful and pay attention to their dogs.

I hope with all the gentrification going on they focus on this dog park soon. It’s big and spacious and has 4 sections: puppy, small, large, and 1 used to be an agility course. I’d love to see this get an upgrade. Redo the grass. Maybe add a sand pit section. More water stations. Give us back the agility course! 🙏🏼

Love this park. It’s got one of the best views of any dog park that I’ve ever seen, and leaves you with the opportunity of walking down a beautiful and exceptionaly natural path towards Tessquite Park, Fairmount Park, or even Mt. Rubidoux. It’s not uncommon to see complete strangers falling into deep conversations with one another because of the incredible bonds they have with their four legged companions. I Definitely recommend visiting should you ever have the chance.

If you have a dog and want to have your pup mingle. Then this is a good place to visit. For those who love hiking, a hiking trail is located just a few steps from there. It’s very peaceful and a very enjoyable trail.

Only dog park nearby. Limited parking. A lot of the dog owners here do not pick up after their dogs. There are also some rowdy folk with aggressive dogs. Don’t bring your pup here if they don’t have good recall.
