Our Giant Schnauzer always gets all the attention she seeks.. friendly people, friendly companions 🙂 enough space to tire them off if you live in an apartment or work alot etc FT students… it’s free and frankly healthy for you and your pet. Highly recommend this park🐾
This is the only dog park in the area that I know of. It’s a great size to have the doggos get some running and play time. I like the division of weight ;there’s a section for dogs 25lbs and below and another for dogs 25lbs and up. The place is generally clean and I’ve seen most owners clean up after their dogs. But the park could use some upkeep. I agree with the bench situation. There’s not a whole lot of benches for owners to sit. I usually take a chair with me and find a good spot while I watch my furbaby.
Most owners I’ve encountered have been friendly. I’d recommend this spot for dog owners just bring plenty of water and if you wish to sit, a chair.
Very open place for a dog, not as green as I thought it would look but pretty decent, it can use a clean from time to time. Has an area for small dogs and a separate one for bigger ones which I like.
I am only in town for work and brought my dog. Sizable, nice dog park but of course has the people that don’t pick up after their dogs like many dog parks.
Take your dog here, you’ll like it.
There are people going to the area of small dogs with large dogs, without using a leash, As is the case of a dog named Norton that has bothered more than one small dog, the owners of the small dogs have had to remove their pets from the park
