- Reviews:I never take time to do reviews and I’m not doing this one because it’s review worthy but I do see a long line of poor representation coming out of Tracy Lyson with these comments and had I known that she would be as poor as she was I would have never retained her . Again I agree with prior reviews, no communication but she charges for it , poor advice and clearly was not working for me as her client , condescending and rude, oh and the one who commented on how she was working on her laptop while she was supposed to be representing her client in mediation……yes that was me too . Doing other work while I was paying her to be representing me . Wasted thousands and thousands of dollars and she never made any attempt to help me after I repeatedly begged her to help . Then she tried to turn it around on me and acted like I wasn’t listening to her or taking her advice. Of course not I know right from wrong and what she was trying to get me to agree to was completely wrong ! She charged $325/hr at the time, far above anything she was worth. I let her go and got someone else who had to pick up the pieces and shook her head at the advice I’d been given from Tracy. Even on retainer it was a fight to get her to even call back, requiring several emails and calls, even though her staff assured me she would do so. In mediation, while we were waiting for the mediators in the other room, she was doing work on her laptop for another client, and yet charged me for the whole time. Pretty safe to assume she was double billing. She got pretty condescending when I fired her and made it out like I expected her to work weekends or something. I don’t expect you to work weekends. But I expect you to call back, be worth what you’re charging me, and surely not to bill me for time you spent working on someone else’s case.By Jacob Shelley (9 months ago)Sara Monson is a rock star at O’Keeffe!
