One of the best decisions I’ve made was to use Carpool Detail, on one of my vehicles. I have several cars, and I chose to take the Jeep, which had not seen a bath in a very long time, in for an estimate. It appeared that water was leaking through the retractable sun roof. I took it to Astonishing Detail, who conducted tests to positively pinpoint the source of leaks. They worked a long time on it, testing it time and time again until they thought they had found the problem.
I picked it up… and then after mild rains the next weekend, new leaks and stains appeared. I felt bad taking it back to Gina & Garrett at Astonishing Detail, because they already had worked a few weeks to find the leaks. They thought they’d gotten it… but that leak returned. But Gina and Garrett were great about it, and they spent all the time required to find that leak. And they did!
I am so grateful to Gina and the team for their work ethic, integrity, customer service, and accountability. Those are special traits in a service industry. I highly recommend Astonishing Detail.

I’ve been dealing with this team for the last 4 years and have had nothing but GREAT service. First had them apply ceramic coating to my vette and couldn’t get over the quality of work provided. Since then, they done the same to my 2002 Ram and 2020 Ram. Both have such a brilliant shine that one could use a mirror. Their work is so superb that I have since moved to Florida and travel here for their service. In town now getting the same ceramic coating applied to my 2019 Goldwing. Came here because I need to vacuum my car and had seen the signs for free vacuum. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that they offered free car mat cleanings too. The car wash was great as well. Will definitely go back to get my car cleaned up again.
I wish there were more locations nearby my home! We traveled to Richmond for a wedding and the monthly special served our needs perfectly! Exceptional customer service and a meticulous car wash are the perfect match. I even got clean floor mats for free. You cannot find this kind of service in the DC area!
