  I used the self-service and it was simple and easy! They also offer an app called Touch4Wash that offers you 4 minutes of free vacuuming when you download it and I think it’s unlimited (I didn’t have change and I was desperate).
  It was neat and tidy, and the guy who maintains the place helped me detangle the turbo dryer. 👌 It’s also affordable and I spent less than $8 here as far as I know.

  Remotely went here just to relieve some stress and doing this by cleaning out my car, but it was great until I saw a bunch of other people show up and so I decided to leave, being that they were all MEN! And there goes my peace! Weird! But besides this car wash is great and shiny!

  Car washes start at $7, $11 & up. Monthly car wash packages are available too. The vacuums are free and there was no waiting in line when I went.

  After paying, the turn to get your vehicle lined up with the rail, which pulls your vehicle forward, is pretty “tight” for a truck or a big SUV. Plan your approach accordingly.

  If you have heavy amounts of dead bugs or butterflies on your grill, lights or windshield, or if you have lots of brake dust, pass thru the local do-it-yourself high pressure spray gun car wash first, before visiting here. (There is one located just west of Aqua Express on the left side of Del Mar Blvd., just past Country Club Dr.)

  There is no consistency at the pre-wash station. During my last visit, the rep was just there to guide you into the rail that pulls you through. On previous occasions one or even two reps would pre-soak the front of your vehicle.

  No unattended cars in line here, since they don’t offer car detailing service like the competition. It’s a good thing, if you are limited for time.

  Pros:
  1. It’s usually easy to get in & out. The lines aren’t too long.

  2. Car/Truck wash prices are slightly lower than the competition.

  3. You can ask the attendant to spray your rims, step rails or other items during the pre-wash phase. They’ll even remove a radio antenna.

  4. You are allowed to go back thru if your vehicle didn’t get washed to your satisfactory. Just speak with the attendant beforehand.

  Negatives:
  1. Vacuums are usually only available on one side instead of all the machines. (Lately, on occasion, both sides. Let’s see if they stay consistent.)

  2. Some vacuums are clogged or aren’t working to their full “suction” capacity.

  3. Tires &/or rims do not get cleaned very well in the automated wash. Perhaps the system lacks a wheel/rim brush unlike the competition.

  4. The back of the vehicle doesn’t get dried very well as it exits the air dryer nozzle section.

  5. You may notice water spots on your vehicle. Maybe it’s an issue with your vehicle’s wax coating or it may be the place has hard water.

  6. Don’t be surprised if your vehicle loses a body molding. The rotating brushes wipe away loose debris or objects in their path. After frequent car washes, body moldings lose their adhesive grip. Newer car & truck moldings are expensive…$20 to upwards of $100. (Check if you are missing any vehicle body moldings after coming out of the automated wash.)

  Aqua is my go to car washing station. I frequently visit it and each time I am constantly wowed by there service. They do a great job at cleaning the car in detail and offer many other services as well. The workers are very friendly and stay on top of their jobs. The vacuum area is always super clean and free of trash. I highly recommend!

  Got washed on 12/10/21, and have bragged about it since. There is always an employee at the beginning of the wash who really takes time to clean the car before it goes through the automatic. Most recently I had a ton of bugs on the car from a road trip. The employee explained I would need to upgrade my wash since they needed to do a bug remover. I was shocked that they cared enough to do the job well. That brought me to the $18 wash and DANG it was shiny after. No bugs! Which is super hard to do in the Laredo sun. They do not hand dry which is the only thing, so I wish I had brought my own towel. Vacuums are free and I have never had to wait in line before but this last experience really made me an incredible fan!
