- Reviews:November 2022 5* Generally you expect all Canadian Tire to be same. What make it is different is the staff and how well the store is organized. We visited the place to buy door lock and winter met. We found everything what we needed. The store was nicely designed and you get pleasant feeling.By Jaspal Singh (6 months ago)Best Canadian Tire location! Service guys are awesome. Zack in Service went out of the way to accommodate my tire installation appointment. Thank you Zack. Richard was amazing explaining everything I wanted to get done on my car. Overall entire Service and parts staff was amazing. Great experience. Thank you!! Will always be attending this location.By GAGANJOT SANDHU (3 months ago)Fantastic service. Even though I had to return multiple times to get my tire pressure sensors reprogrammed, (eventually had to order from dealer), they were pretty professional about it. When they weren’t able to program the sensors, they asked me to have them programmed at the dealer and they would just refund the cost. Special thanks to the manager, Richard. He was very patient with this issueBy Ramcer Dy Teves (3 months ago)I needed a new battery as I had to get two boosts in the space of 4 days so stopped in on my way home from work asked if they carried the battery I needed and if they could install it. They did and could and I was back out in 30 mins. Great job doneBy Wendy Pugh (6 months ago)I am very unhappy with the service I received at the Canadian Tire in Oshawa on Wilson Rd N. I had an appointment on Saturday February 11th for an oil change. This is not typically the location I go to however, it was the closest one at the time. When dropping my car off, I confirmed I was there for an oil change then confirmed I would like a phone call when it was finished. As time passed, I decided to get a drive back over to Canadian Tire and check the parking lot to see if my car was finished. I saw it sitting in the parking lot and went inside to the service desk where I asked to be cashed out. The employee assisting me couldn’t confirm if my car was done and said he last saw it in the shop being worked on still. I let him know again that it was sitting out in the lot. I then waited a few minutes while he searched for my keys as he was unsure where they were. He brought my keys then told me my total. Instead of being charged for a regular oil change as I usually get, they did a synthetic oil change which was done at an increased price that I didn’t agree to. He said sorry for assuming that’s what I wanted and cashed me out. When I got to my car, I noticed belongings from my glove box laying on the floor of the passenger side. A toy ball, a tire pressure checker, and the cardboard wrapper sitting beside it. I thought it was weird that my belongings were left on the floor of my car so I opened up the glove box to return the items to where they belong. That is when I noticed that the little bag with the tools needed to change my tires was missing. At this point I was frustrated by the service and asked my friend to go check inside the store to see if they knew where the orange bag had went. They apologized and handed my friend the bag. The mechanic had used it to remove a tire when checking for an alignment issue and forgot to return it back to my car. On the drive home I noticed that they didn’t put a new sticker on my windshield to show when the oil change was done and when I should return for the next one. I left very unhappy that day and will not be returning to this location for auto services again in the future nor will I recommend them to friends and family.By Meaghan Bulgin (3 months ago)

- Reviews:Very poor service, been here twice as it’s close to home. Both times my oil change was rushed. Yesterday waited over 2 hours to get just the oil changed. This time they forgot to put the screws back on to the plate under the car. Drove with it hanging and dragging on the ground for over 100km on the highway. Luckily I passed another garage who noticed it and fixed it for me for free before it broke off. They do not check pressures in tires and did not top up windscreen washer fluid. Just wash the windscreen to pass time even though we said don’t wash. Called to speak to the manager who didn’t even apologize for their mistake just said he will order new screws as they don’t have them.By R Jeno (4 months ago)Had a wonderful experience today when I went into MR.LUBE for an oil change! Dimitri was very knowledgeable and took the time to talk to me and explain what he was doing and make recommendations based on my vehicle’s mileage etc. I also spoke to the assistant manager John who was very friendly and helpful as he explained things as well. I highly recommend coming here for an oil change or any of their other services. I felt comfortable asking questions and like I was getting great service.By Casey May (2 months ago)Ahmad always provides exceptional customer service with honesty and always explains every service that is suggested without any pressure to spend more than needed and also clear about what is important to take care of immediately. He makes sure to check every part of the car leaving you with confidence that your car is in good condition and safe to drive. Great service from the rest of the team working at this location as well.By Melissa Leone (3 months ago)I often use this location for my oil changes. The guys here are great. Ahmad was my technician today and he was awesome. We got along great and he made the visit extremely enjoyable. He was very thorough and even made sure that the mechanic underneath the car triple checked for any leakage. He checked all of my other fluids and made sure I understood the maintenance schedule of my vehicle. Thanks Ahmad for the great service, and thanks Mr Lube Oshawa for another speedy, reliable oil change. See you in a few months.By Doug Peters (a month ago)Ahmad always has the best service and goes above and beyond to help. He has excellent customer service skills, is friendly, patient, honest and knowledgeable. He changed my winter tires and even reminded me that I was due for an oil change. Ahmad is meticulous and noticed my wipers, air filters and headlights needed to be changed as well. He made everything quick and easy.By Seema (a week ago)

This place is amazing, always keeps a good stock for things. Staff is really polite and nice. Sale items in this store are really organized so you don’t have to run down the whole store to look for things.
Love all Canadian Tire outlets for their general value and financing options. However, if their signature Mastercraft or highly-rated products turn out to be duds, forget filing a negative review as it’ll never be published. I would have hoped they would have the sense to accept the good with the bad so that other customers are saved from wasting money. Recent cases in point were a fire pit that rusted through and a nice powerful Mastercraft shop vac, which lost a part and needed to be tossed in the garbage. Photos of both are attached.
The relates to the service centre. The store itself has always been great.
Went to another garage that was closer to get winter tires put on last month and they couldn’t get one of the nuts off because it was overtorqued/misthreaded. The last time someone had touched my tires was at this CT in June when they replaced the brakes. Called CT and Dan told me that since someone else had touched it, there was no way to know if it was their fault. Said he would ‘work with us to take care of it’. Took the car in and they charged us an hour labour to cut off the bad nut then pushed us to get a new set of nuts. Said no thanks, just replace the one. This is what they replaced it with…
UPDATE: Called their customer service team a week or more ago. Said they would look into it. Haven’t heard anything back. Had a better look at the invoice, and they actually billed me for a replacement nut. So I paid 6 dollars for a rusty old nut they had sitting around the garage.
What can I say about this store that hasn’t already been said?
Definitely download the app and use it on bonus redemption days if you need anything. Collecting CT money is slow if you don’t.
Their Auto Batteries are great.
Their Tires are decent for the price
Their Tools are decent for the average person and their replacement guarantee is awesome.
They have been brought back from the brink of death and are now going strong. Keep up the good work. I’m more then happy to support this Canadian company.
Go in to by some salt as it’s only mid March. Was told by a 16yr old we only have the expensive yard works salt left and WONT be ordering more. I get it…its March but…
A. Lose the attitude kid, and enjoy your 1st job.
B. It’s only mid March ease up on the potting soil and keep salt in stock.
What will we see in June Christmas stuff. 🎄 🤔
