  1. This amazing park has a small hike to walk with your dog and a huge slope. My dog gets tuckered out running laps and exploring every visit. There are always plenty of dogs, good people, trash cans water, bathrooms up the hill, a watering hole, and sometimes even live music!

  2. Fantastic place to bring your dog. There’s a small trail, and everyone keeps it clean. My dog loves to come play here.

  3. Great off-leash area with some trails. Wasn’t as crowded as I thought it would be and is built on an incline which gives your dog and yourself a good exercise

  4. This is the best off leash area that I have encountered since moving to the Portland area earlier this year. The area occupies the southern edge of Mt. Tabor Park and has tree coverage with a short path that loops along the edge. Everyone was very friendly and dogs were playful. My pup enjoyed her socializing and running and left with a big smile.

  5. I come here all the time and actually really like it. There’s no fence around most of the park and where there is, it’s often at the same level as the ground (except a few good stretches of 6′ tall fencing) so your dog better have good recall. The trash bin is locked so there are buckets around it full of bags.
Still, there are a couple loops to walk around and usually lots of friends to play with. You can walk up the hill and see the reservoirs, catch some live music or events and catch a great sunset!

We love this dog park! Marley is a regular here as he has made quite a few friends. There is a good amount of shade, plenty of drinking bowls and a faucet, chairs and benches spread throughout. The people and dogs that frequent here are also pretty chill. Definitely recommend if you want somewhere to relax while your doggo gets some socializing in!

Took our two dogs here a few times now and it’s a really nice size dog park… There is plenty of space for them to run around and also there are a few chairs that you are able to sit down on and there was also water available for the dogs lovely little Park

Great park, fully fenced in and leveled, surrounded by gorgeous trees. All the pups were super nice and played along. Milo loved his play time there. We’ll be back again for sure!

So coming to the park I was SO excited! I had just gone to a park that was awfully overgrown and not maintained at all. I looked at all the reviews, and pictures of this park and it looked so beautiful and promising in the pictures. But when I got here it was very poorly maintained there was no grass anywhere to be seen, and everything is overgrown. It was awfully disappointing. 😕 Edit. And as I’m leaving I see there is no restrooms, water or garbage facilities either.

Lovely, fenced park with lots of shade and places for people to sit. Former orchard, so be aware if your dog tends to pick up deadfall fruit. Water supply, pup pool and trash can provided. Bring your own bags. Update: there are zombie RVs parked on the west side of the park.

-Three areas: mixed dogs, large dogs, small dogs -Bark/sand/dirt. No grass inside the dog areas. -Fully fenced -All areas are connected with a gate to get access from each area to another -Two water stations in mixed dog area. A spicket, so plenty of water. -NO trash cans inside the areas. Just one outside by the main entrances to the areas and not maintained. -There are restrooms -Playground for kids outside dog areas -On street parking in residential area. Was not hard to find a spot on a Saturday afternoon. There is a little strip for parking, but that does seem like it would fill decently quick.

We’ve been to two other dog parks in Portland and so far, this is the best. There are a lot of trees for shade and 3 play areas for the dogs. There’s plenty of room for them to run.

My favorite Portland dog park. 3 separate enclosed areas, 1 reserved for small dogs. Unfortunately, this heavily used dog park gets short-shift from Portland Parks, the gates are in poor repair and the fences need work. There is also a need for attention from arborists. That said, it’s a great spot, and a better than average core group of dog owners.

One of my go-to dog parks. Fenced in large mulch dog park. The largest portion is split into 2 sides with one side usually being more popular than the other, which is great for if your dog gets overwhelmed or if you need to separate dogs that might not be digging each other as much. Separate section for small dogs as well

I’m pretty sure there are 3 fenced in areas for you to take your dog to play freely without worry. Some poop bags were on site, but it was near the end of the roll, so bring your own just in case. Overall, it was pretty clean. The locals do well to clean up after their animals here. Here’s why I didn’t give it a solid 5. Although the park is incredibly shady from the towering trees, there is very little grass in the play area. This means, your dog is running around on leaves and dirt. When it rains, which as the time of this review, our rainy season begins tomorrow and will last til May. It’s fair to assume this is going to be a very muddy park to visit in the winter. There isn’t enough sunlight to shine through to dry the mud. If you’re gonna visit, make sure you bring towels to wipe mud off your fur baby if you’re trying to keep a clean vehicle.
